News from around Europe
February was a busy month for the adult learning sector across Europe:
- The Ministry of Culture of Baden-Württemberg (Department of Continuing Education) published a new handbook, designed to help trainers use digital media in their practice (DE).
- Meanwhile in Estonia, the Professional Council of Education approved the new professional standards in vocational education for adults (ET).
- Denmark is investing 13 million krones (17.5 million euro) in public libraries and education centres for new communication initiatives (DA).
