This Grundvig Learning Partnership project happened from 2013 - 2015. It involved 8 countries and aimed to look at the topic of healthy lifestyles from an intergenerational viewpoint. They key objective of the project was to provide families, especially older generation, with knowledge and practical competencies in the field of dietetics, healthy nutrition and an active lifestyle, to present different variations of balanced diets and to introduce simple sport activities. It is necessary to support families by effective policies and actions to increase their awareness and improve habits relating to nutrition and physical activity. Motivating adult and senior citizens to be active in the field of social activities, exchange and transfer of good practices, learning by experience and understanding the modern changes, as well as a balanced diet and regular physical activity are essential for good health and proper development
