Kaip plačiame pasaulyje, taip ir Lietuvoje, įstatymai suteikia galimybę nuteistiesiems mokytis ir įgyti išsilavinimą. Laisvės atėmimo vietose vykdomos formalaus ir  neformalaus ugdymo programos. Šių bendruomenių aplinka - daugiatautė, ugdymo procese pageidauja dalyvauti įvairių tautybių nuteistieji. Panevėžio moterų pataisos namuose veikia Panevėžio suaugusiųjų ir jaunimo mokymo centro skyrius, kur kasmet apie 60 % mokinių sudaro kitatautės: romų, rusų, baltarusių, ukrainiečių moterys.

From the beginning, the Community Stories' goals have been to fully engage our community in telling their stories, get to know their colleagues from all over Europe, and share the issues that were affecting their everyday life and that were challenging their education activities. We have received dozens of stories in a short space of time. This confirms our community’s will – or need – to get through this crisis together, sharing their solutions and being an inspiration to each other. We have collected 78 stories from 28 countries... so far.

Gyakorlatilag egy éjszaka leforgása alatt kellett az oktatási intézményeknek megtalálni a távoktatás különböző módjait, hogy folytatni tudják pedagógiai gyakorlatukat. Ez a cikk a MOOC-kal foglalkozik és azzal, hogy az (önálló) tanulás, a kapcsolattartás és a tudásmegosztáls milyen lehetőségeit rejtegeti.

Na razie, mam nadzieję, że chwilowo niemal całym światem rządzi koronowirus, który niszczy lub próbuje zniszczyć najciekawsze plany ludzi. Oczywiście koronowirus jest też w Polsce. Dlatego działalność Zachodniopomorskiego Uniwersytetu Ludowego ostatnio zrobiła się taka cicha, mało zauważalna, wręcz tej działalności trochę niektórym brakuje. Ale spokojnie, o Zachodniopomorskim Uniwersytecie Ludowym i projekcie "Nauczyciel w Uniwersytecie Ludowym wobec wyzwań współczesnej Europy" (realizowany w ramach projektu Erasmus+ Edukacja Dorosłych), będzie już za chwileczkę, już za momencik bardzo głośno. Mamy taką nadzieję. Nauczyciele Uniwersytetów Ludowych oczywiście też.

I maj varje år brukar Svensk biblioteksförening arrangera branschdagar för biblioteksvärlden. I år blev det inga fysiska möten – istället anordnades en virtuell konferens på tema Hållbara samhällen och bibliotek. Temat för dagen var Agenda 2030 och FN:s globala mål för en hållbar utveckling. De globala målen antogs av FNs medlemsländer 2015 och syftar till att avskaffa extrem fattigdom, minska ojämlikheter och orättvisor i världen, att främja fred och rättvisa och att lösa klimatkrisen.

Turkey Advanced Technical Schools for Girls affiliated to the Directorate General for Lifelong Learning have started to produce masks and face shields special for children considering their age, gender and eyeglasses. Director General of Lifelong Learning Yusuf Büyük stated that masks have also become part of children's lives due to coronavirus pandemic, and advanced technical schools are working on designs that are special in every aspect that will attract children's attention.

The e-book with more than 600 pages is the result of the EU project "Volunteers4Europe", which was carried out from 2018 to 2020. In this project, teams from Estonia, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden documented interesting examples of volunteering in their country. The results were also presented to the public through international exhibitions. The project was co-financed by the European funding programme Erasmus Plus. The e-book gives a comprehensive impression of the multifaceted nature of volunteering in Europe.

The Age-friendly Living Ecosystem is a new piece of research, funded by the Scottish Universities Insight Institute, exploring how we can co-create places and spaces that are welcoming and safe for people of all generations. We intend to use what we have learned to co-produce policy and practice recommendations and a bigger proposal to the Economic and Social Research Council for a much more extensive piece of research into intergenerational place-making. Många människor som deltar i studiecirklar uppger att de blir mer allmänbildande, stärker sin känsla av social tillhörighet och ökar sina möjligheter att lyckas i arbetslivet. Det framgår av den nya rapport Cirkelns betydelser från Folkbildningsrådet.
Rapporten bygger på två enkätundersökningar med 7850 svarande samt intervjuer med fokusgrupper och enskilda individer. Rapporten är författad av docent Pelle Åberg på Ersta Sköndal Bräcke högskola och frilansskribenten Thor Rutgersson på uppdrag av Folkbildningsrådet.
