The new project intends to implement the theoretical model developed thanks to NACSR – New Adult’s Competences For Skill Revolution (aimed at the acquisition of critical/computational skills), within the school context (Second level higher education) by establishing an experimental work mode oriented to the development and implementation of projects and products.
The methodology will focus on design thinking, which is configured as a set of cognitive, strategic and practical processes through which products, projects or ideas are produced (Willemien Visser, The Cognitive Artifacts of Designing, 8 agosto 2006, DOI:10.1201/9781482269529.)
To build products it is necessary to combine more and more design knowledge and technical competence. Working by projects will allow to fix the ever wider HIATUS between school and work culture, introducing the development of design competence within school paths. Furthermore, project competence represents the key competence for dialogue with the European Community and increasingly it is the means by which to establish programs of social relevance and local development. Implementation of project and product can, in a symbolic and effective way, facilitate the meeting and the relationship between people, entities and institutions.
