Mobility in Adult Education and Training in Estonia

Learner Mobility

Adult learners have the opportunity to participate in the activities of the Nordplus Adultprogramme:

  • Study opportunities in the folk universities of the Nordic and Baltic countries (applications are received and the application process is coordinated by the Estonian Non-formal Adult Education Association);
  • study opportunities through cooperation projects.

Teacher and Trainer Mobility 

People employed in adult education have the opportunity to participate in the activities of the Erasmus+ programme and those of the adult education programme Nordplus:

  • Support for teaching and staff education under the learning mobility measure of the Erasmus+ programme;
  • Nordplus Adult study visits and secondments to the Nordic and Baltic countries.

The travelling and accommodation expenses of the participants are covered on the basis of the established support rates.
In Estonia the activities under the Erasmus+ programme and the adult education programme Nordplus are coordinated by the Adult Education Bureau of the Centre for Educational Programmes of the Archimedes Foundation. Applications submitted by Estonian adult learners for studying in the folk universities of the Nordic and Baltic countries in the framework of the adult education programme Nordplus are co-ordinated by the Estonian Non-formal Adult Education Association.
