The UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning has published a brochure on the potentials of ICTs for basic skills education. It presents 26 international examples of good practice in literacy and numeracy education which are based on e-learning. Case studies for Europe include the e-learning platforms ich-will-lernen.de (Germany), WriteOn (Ireland), the Web-based Literacy Programme (Turkey) as well as the app Math Everywhere (Great Britain).
