Zoals in vele landen heeft ook de bibliotheek in Nederland een vaste plek in de maatschappij.
Als kind ga je naar de Bibliotheek met je ouders, met de school. Je leert, je ontdekt. Zodra je ouder wordt, gebruik je de bibliotheek voor de studie. Dan ga je aan het werk..…en in de bibliotheek vind je de informatie over je hobby’s. Onderwerpen waar je meer van wilt weten, informatie over je gezin, maatschappelijke onderwerpen, je leert nog steeds.

These activities are set in the context of shopping, with activities to spell food items and numeracy tasks on comparing prices and identifying higher and lower prices. There are two activities for reading and sorting items into categories. The activities use simple techniques in PowerPoint and Word to produce an element of interactivity.
Final meeting of the pilot group in project Peer to Peer Support Fostering Active Ageing

On Monday, 14th of December 2015, the offical ending of pilot delivery of Face to face program for active ageing will be held at Public University of Ptuj with all participants and their peers-mentors.
The purpose of PPS project (from 2014 until 2016) is to work in the field of active ageing, because life expectancy in Europe is getting longer and we have many people who have already achieved well-deserved retirement, but are still youthful, active and vital.

Learners revealed rich and diverse cultural backgrounds as part of the Limerick College of Further Education annual Intercultural last week. With over 37 different nationalities presently studying on full-time programmes in the College, there was significant representation on the day from Poland, Ireland, UK, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Sierra Leone, Slovakia, Estonia, Italy, Rwanda, Latvia, Spain, France, China and the Congo.

The iRemember project intends to share, adapt and experiment at the European level the "Laboratory of memory", a laboratory model of intergenerational activities (involving teachers/tutors , students and seniors), aimed at updating the skills of teachers/trainers and improving alternative and informal learning of history in schools. Each "Laboratory of memory" will focus on the theme of "conflict" (e.g. Transition between communism and market economy in Romania, "The Troubles" in Northern Ireland, etc..

Wie können Betriebe die durch die Tätigkeit erworbenen Kompetenzen und Fähigkeiten (informell) ihrer Beschäftigten feststellen und nutzen? Welche Vorgehensweisen stehen den Betrieben hierzu zur Verfügung und welche Erfahrungen werden damit gemacht? Inwiefern findet eine Anerkennung der festgestellten Kompetenzen und Fähigkeiten statt? Fachkräftemangel im Metall- und Elektrobereich sowie neue Formen der Arbeits- und Betriebsorganisation machen hinsichtlich der Bedeutung des lebenslangen Lernens neue Denkweisen notwendig.

Hasło LABiBu brzmi: “Dziel się wiedzą, mnóż pomysły”, gdyż powstał on w celu wzajemnego inspirowania się i uczenia się od siebie w myśl idei, że wprawdzie pojedyncze osoby mają jednostkową wiedzę, ale razem wiemy wszystko. Przynajmniej o działalności bibliotecznej i okołobibliotecznej.

Arbejdslivets oplæringscenter, Nordisk netværk for voksnes læring, NVL, arrangerer en konference i samarbejde EPALE på Island, mandag 30. november i Reykjavik. Overskriften er ”Fremtiden i voksnes læring”. Key-notes er Ingegerd Green, konsulent i Sverige og Guðrún Ragnarsdóttir formand for Uddannelsesfondets styre.
