The idea to create the comparative report on migrant education in the Baltic States was suggested by Eve Magi, senior analyst of Praxis Center for Policy Studies of Estonia at the end of 2013. She was joined by Lithuanian Public Policy and Management Institute researcher Hanna Siarova and a representative from Latvia Liesma Ose (Global Development Institute). As a result of the co-operation Liesma Ose made the presentation entitled Comparative Assessment of the Strategies and Legislation concerning the integration of migrants in education in the Baltic States.

Ideja veidot Baltijas valstu imigrantu izglītības salīdzinošu ziņojumu radās Igaunijas sabiedriskās politikas centra PRAXIS vecākajai pētniecei Evei Magi 2013. gada nogalē. Viņai pievienojās Lietuvas PPMI ( Public Policy and Management Institute) līdzstrādniece Hanna Siarova un Latvijas pārstāve Liesma Ose ( Globālās attīstības institūts). Sadarbībā tapa Liesmas Oses prezentācija: Baltijas valstu imigrantu integrācijas likumdošana un stratēģijas -- salīdzinošs izvērtējums.

The idea of this comparative, critical and constructive study also belongs to Eve Magi, and it has been elaborated together with Liesma Ose and Hanna Siarova within SIRIUS, the European Policy Network on the education of children and young people with a migrant background, which brought together policy-makers, academic community and NGO activists (2012-2014). The study and policy recommendations issued in English were created in 2014.

Arī šis salīdzinošais, kritiskais un konstruktīvais pētījums ir Eves Magi iecere, darbojoties kopā ar Liesmu Osi un Hannu Siarovu Eiropas imigrantu izglītības politikas tīklojumā SIRIUS, kas apvienoja politikas veidotājus, akadēmisko aprindu pārstāvjus un NVO aktīvistus laika posmā no 2012. līdz 2014. gadam. Pētījums un politikas ieteikumi, ko var iepazīt angļu valodā, tapa 2014. gadā.

The Directorate for Lifelong Learning and Early School Leavers organised Lifelong Learning Cafe sessions for adult educators and trainers. The event focuses on adult learning themes tackled in recent months on the Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe (EPALE).  Participants were encouraged to engage in collaborative dialogues in a cafe set-up following the World Cafe format. The event was held on Thursday, 5 May between 3pm and 5pm, at the Lifelong Learning Centre, Msida, Malta.

New Media Consortium (NMC) und EDUCAUSE Learning Initiative (ELI) erstellen daraus den jährlichen Horizon Report, der jetzt in deutscher Übersetzung vorliegt. Erfasst werden Entwicklungen und Veränderungen, die für die nächsten fünf Jahre prognostiziert werden.

Andragoogika III kursuse tudengina ootas mind selle aasta alguses ees kohustuslik praktika. Soovisin teostada oma praktikat organisatsioonis, mille eesmärgid ja põhimõtted oleksid ka mulle olulised ning samas paneksid mind ka proovile. Valisin selleks oma varasema koostööpartneri Tabora vzw Belgias ning viibisin seal kokku kolm kuud.
