Turkey Advanced Technical Schools for Girls affiliated to the Directorate General for Lifelong Learning have started to produce masks and face shields special for children considering their age, gender and eyeglasses. Director General of Lifelong Learning Yusuf Büyük stated that masks have also become part of children's lives due to coronavirus pandemic, and advanced technical schools are working on designs that are special in every aspect that will attract children's attention.

The e-book with more than 600 pages is the result of the EU project "Volunteers4Europe", which was carried out from 2018 to 2020. In this project, teams from Estonia, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden documented interesting examples of volunteering in their country. The results were also presented to the public through international exhibitions. The project was co-financed by the European funding programme Erasmus Plus. The e-book gives a comprehensive impression of the multifaceted nature of volunteering in Europe.

The Age-friendly Living Ecosystem is a new piece of research, funded by the Scottish Universities Insight Institute, exploring how we can co-create places and spaces that are welcoming and safe for people of all generations. We intend to use what we have learned to co-produce policy and practice recommendations and a bigger proposal to the Economic and Social Research Council for a much more extensive piece of research into intergenerational place-making. Många människor som deltar i studiecirklar uppger att de blir mer allmänbildande, stärker sin känsla av social tillhörighet och ökar sina möjligheter att lyckas i arbetslivet. Det framgår av den nya rapport Cirkelns betydelser från Folkbildningsrådet.
Rapporten bygger på två enkätundersökningar med 7850 svarande samt intervjuer med fokusgrupper och enskilda individer. Rapporten är författad av docent Pelle Åberg på Ersta Sköndal Bräcke högskola och frilansskribenten Thor Rutgersson på uppdrag av Folkbildningsrådet.

Liczba Pań, pełniących rolę Sołtyski, przy każdych kolejnych wyborach, sukcesywnie się zwiększa. Często Sołtysami i Sołtyskami zostają ludzie, o dużej dozie zaufania społecznego i małym przygotowaniu merytorycznym do pełnienia tej funkcji. To osoby, które mieszkańcy wybierają na swoich reprezentantów i wobec, których lista oczekiwań, związanych ze społecznym działaniem jest zazwyczaj bardzo długa.

Η Donna Moore εργάζεται για την Ανάπτυξη δεξιοτήτων Γραμματισμού και Αριθμητισμού στη «Βιβλιοθήκη Γυναικών της Γλασκώβης». Μερικές από τις γυναίκες που έρχονται στη Βιβλιοθήκη, δεν έμαθαν ποτέ να διαβάζουν ή να γράφουν και τούτο οφείλεται σε πολλούς λόγους όπως για παράδειγμα να έχουν υποστεί κακοποίηση ή τραυματικά γεγονότα, να είναι πρόσφυγες ή να έχουν μαθησιακές δυσκολίες. Υπάρχουν γυναίκες που επιστρέφουν στις σπουδές τους έπειτα από μια μακρά περίοδο αποχής από τη μάθηση, γυναίκες που επιθυμούν να μάθουν να γράφουν ένα κείμενο μόνες τους, να λύσουν ένα σταυρόλεξο ή να διαβάσουν ένα ποίημα. Οτιδήποτε πράττει έχει ως γνώμονα τις εκπαιδευόμενες.

Desde que empezó el brote de COVID-19, nuestras vidas en el hogar y en la familia se han visto significativamente afectadas; nos hemos visto obligados a adaptarnos a nuevas formas de trabajo que no hubiéramos creído posibles hace solo unas pocas semanas. Ahora, más que nunca, es el momento para que los educadores de adultos se conecten, compartan y se inspiren unos a otros. 
Con el fin de poner en marcha la colaboración de la comunidad, estamos abriendo una convocatoria para que toda la comunidad de aprendizaje de adultos comparta sus historias, experiencias y soluciones con sus compañeros en EPALE.

Lähtudes uurimisprobleemist ja eesmärgist otsiti vastuseid järgmistele uurimisküsimustele: 1) missugune on Kihnu valla elanike elukestvas õppes osalemine? 2) kes peaksid kihnlaste arvates panustama Kihnu elukestva õppe arendamisse?; 3) milliseid elukestva õppe vorme ja tegevusi on kihnlaste meelest vaja arendada?
