Strategic Partnership for Vocational Training on Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning
Dear Colleagues,
My organization is currently developing a project proposal for Erasmus + Strategic Partnership.
The proposal aims to foster the institutional and human resource capacity of the local authorities responsible for urban mobility. The logic of intervention and means of the proposal departs from the "EU Guideline for Developing and Implementing Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SUMP)" SUMP is a strategic plan designed to satisfy the mobility needs of people and businesses in cities and their surroundings for a better quality of life. SUMP builds on existing planning practices and takes due consideration of integration, participation, and evaluation principles. Turkish local governments have recently had some initiatives for preparing a SUMP for their urban area.
The proposal aims to develop three Intellectual Outputs as follows:
1- training on SUMP development
2- training on SUMP implementation and monitoring
3- training on defining mentorship service for SUMP process of local governments
We are seeking for partners from Erasmus + Program countries that hace experience in SUMP process and can contribute to the context of the trainings by deriving from their expertise, experience and network of bodies engaged in SUMP process.
