The promotion of cultural diversity and intercultural dialogue in Europe are important drivers for entrepreneurship among youth and consequently contribute to economic growth and social cohesion.
Our project aims to exchange best practices about Europe’s crafts heritage (textile, carving, woodwork, metalwork, jewellery making, pottery, paper decoration etc) in supporting the youth entrepreneurship in this field and encouraging the young to create and run enterprises in the crafting sector.
The project’s main objectives are :
- To create a network of organizations active in the field of craftsmanship across Europe.
- To revitalize and give better knowledge in crafts heritage on European level as well as the opportunity this field offers for entrepreneurship.
- To discover traditional crafts across Europe preventing the disappearance of them.
TARGET GROUPS : Young unemployed people, Young interested in entrepreneurship, Young interested in craftmanship
STAKEHOLDERS : Cultural and heritage organizations, VET in providing guidance and knowledge on crafts, VET in providing guidance in entrepreneurial level, media specialized in craftsmanship.
