The adult education of the city of Karlshamn, Sweden, is looking for potential partners for different kinds of projects and/or exchanges.
We are looking for partners in the field of validation of current knowledge (with the aim of getting a VET-education) and to prevent drop ours and working with sustainable development.
We would also be interested in job shadowing (and in the long run, also student exchanges if possible), primaraly within the VET field and educations with in child- and health care.
Some of our teachers are also in the start up phase of a local integration project, that in the end might end up as an Erasmus+ project for our next application, so it could also be of interest to find partners for this. The project is in short about how to faster integrate immigrants through language development by being active in different organisations within the area of culture and sports, do volonteer work etc. The main goal is to involve as many local organisations of interest as possible to meet up with our students and offer them to take part of their activities, instead of "waiting" for the immigrants to, maybe, find the organisations of their own.
We have been doing different kinds of international projects during a number of years, mainly in the Erasmus+ KA1, and are now ready to expand our borders.
We are looking for adult education centres all over Europe that can be interested in exchanges in the fields meantioned above.
Right now we are running a KA1 project focusing on sustainable development and reducing stress for staff and students.
Our organization has around 50 teachers and staff, 1200 students and we offer education within:
- Swedish for immigrants
- Adult education equal to elementary school
- Adult education equal to upper secondary school (single courses or entire programs equal to the youth education)
- VET education equal to upper secondary school (health care, child care, cooking, electricians, construction, beauty, administration, store attendants etc)
- Adult education for student with learning disabilities (elementary to upper secondary)
If you are interested and have a good project idea, don't hesitate to contact us. :)
