The project is focused on civil activity of students.
During a week long programme, participants will have the possibility to learn what civil participation is and how to became involved in a local community. They will meet Cracovian NGO’s, authorities and dominant institutions’ representatives to discuss their perspective.
During their stay, project participants will be involved in a hands-on activity directed at the local community, they will also have the opportunity to take part in many workshops. Both activities will develop their leadership skills that help to manage a student organisation.
The project’s purpose is experience exchange among the participants and practising cooperation in international environment.
The project is based on non-formal education methods and will require active participation to benefit the most out of the learning by doing agenda.
The training program is especially designed for student organisations’ leaders who:
- Are interested in civil activity and participation
- Want to develop their leadership skills essential while managing student organisation and many projects
- Want to learn methods and possibilities of involving students in local communities
The conditions are:- 3 participants of both sexes (female and male) from each organisation, fluent in English- Age of participants: legally adult
- Financial aspects: Travel costs will be reimbursed according to the lump sum based on distance calculator (if the travel costs are higher than a lump sum, participant or partner organization should cover the difference), accommodation and food are provided by the hosting organisation.
