The jewellery history is almost as old as the history of humanity.Beginning of it is  around 4000 BC.,the ornamental stones with attractive and vivid colours such as agate and chalcedony have begun to be used in jewellery making.Materials used in the construction of jewellery differs according to periods and cultures.

Trainees of Ayvalık Public Education Centre process stones and they make clocks, necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and various decoration stuffs. They make good works and recreations in their leisure time. Our course started in 2015 and the number of our female trainees has already reached up to 100.The artifacts are sold and our trainees earn money for their families.

It is a pleasure for Ayvalık Public Education Centre to give this opportunity to its trainees.
