Movimento Consumatori Italia and the italian NGO Cies onlus realize this project on consumer education.
Activities: Three actions to increase awareness and sustainability of our consumption:
1. WE LIKE Let's try to put the right like! an interactive theatrical path based on role -playing methodology("Below the cost: a path for young consumers") will help us to reflect with the students of 16 Italian regions on the figure of the citizen / consumer
2. WE SHARE Sharing correct information increases awareness. Active participation helps to circulate the right information. With the forum theater tool, in 10 italian regions we raise citizens' awareness of the “conflicts” generated in society by the role of the consumer.
3. WE CHANGE To change the world of consumption, an alliance between consumers and manufacturing companies is essential. We will involve 100 companies in a research-study on non-financial communication: analyzing their behavior in improving their impact on workers, health and the environment.
Beneficiaries: 20 thousand young people and 20 thousand adults will be involved in the various activities. There will be 200 classes involved and 1,300 teachers. To enhance the good practices of companies in support of economic and sustainable growth, 100 companies will be monitored and 100 stakeholders will be involved in disseminating the results. To encourage the growth of associations, 60 local managers will be trained.
