Deactivation of unused Irish CAS awards

Valoda: EN

Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) have announced that they will soon be deactivating "unused and little-used" Common Award System (CAS) awards. This is to ensure that all awards standards for further education and training are "fit for purpose and relevant".

QQI welcomes views on the withdrawal of these awards from providers and stakeholders until the deadline on Monday 10th June.

On 12 June 2019, QQI will confirm the list of the awards for deactivation. On 1 October 2019, QQI will deactivate the listed awards having regard to the interests of any learners already enrolled on validated programmes.
