At 3pm on Monday 9th September, Tangent will host a talk and discussion on Disruptive Education, led by Dr Colin Kennedy. The event will be held in one of Tangent’s classrooms on the first floor of the new business school building.
Colin will share some of his experiences in disruptive education, and the session will end with an open discussion.

Young Enterprise Trust
Young Enterprise exists to contribute to New Zealand’s prosperity through the creation of entrepreneurial and innovative mindsets and skillsets in young people. We do this through experiential education, transformative experiences and connecting our students to a range of networks in the NZ business ecosystem, ranging from alumni, start-ups, funders, corporates to government.
We have a range of short ‘feeder’ programmes that prepare students for our flagship programme – YES. This is a year-long programme, both for-credit and not-for-credit, where 16-18 year olds create and run a real-life company. Currently, over 4,000 students create over 1,000 companies each year. This includes youth from within the prison system, teen-parent units and rural areas of significant hardship.
