Świętokrzyskie In-service Teacher Training Centre is pleased to welcome you to a new online discussion on EPALE. The theme of this discussion is seeking new solutions in the area of multicultural education.

The discussion is scheduled to start in the comments section below on October 8th, 2019 13:00 (CET) and will be moderated until October 9th, 2019 15:00 (CET). Its results will contribute to the outcomes of the project TIKO (Tolerance-Integration- Culture- Openness) on the theme of migrant education.

Świętokrzyskie In-service Teacher Training Centre (SCDN) started a new Erasmus + project (TIKO) on 2^nd October 2017. This project has aimed to prepare teachers and specialists of this institution to work within multicultural, anti-discrimination and inclusive education.

We visited many schools, institutions and organizations from Belgium and Cyprus where we could learn how teachers,  social workers and volunteers handled the problems which migrants and their families faced when they arrived in these two countries (including many good solutions to these problems). We also learnt how our Polish government organization tackled any difficulties concerning the migration issues. Everything we have been learning for two years will certainly help us to work with other school  teachers from our province in terms of multicultural, anti-discrimination and inclusive education.

Therefore, at the end of our project we would like you to share your ideas and experiences concerning migrant education which will contribute to our forthcoming workshops and courses dedicated to e.g. improving the educational opportunities for migratory children.
