The European Sport Week provides a good opportunity to appreciate the importance of sport. According to the definition, sport is a physical and /or mental activity in a form of game. Depending on the aim, there is competitive sport and health sport. Competitive sport is spectacular, and it surely occupies a significant place in each age group, however, competitive sport is only for a smaller share of the society. As a health management consultant and educator I would like to speak about health sport as a form the active movement hobby.

Euroopa Spordi Nädalal on hea võimalus rohkem süveneda spordi tähendusse. Definitsiooni järgi on sport mänguline kehaline ja/või vaimne tegevus. Eesmärgi järgi eristame võistlussporti ja tervisesporti. Võistlussport on vaatemänguline ja igas vanusegrupis on sellel kindlasti oluline koht, kuid võistlussport on jõukohane väikesele osale ühiskonnast. Tervisejuhtimise konsultandi ja koolitajana tahaksin rohkem rääkida tervisespordist kui liikumisharrastusest.

The Erasmus+ project GUTS (Generations Using Training for Social Inclusion) created an intergenerational, co-creative cultural learning model and formulates recommendations for socio-economic workers, adult educators, local and regional governments. These recommendations are based on test cases, results from practical workshops and research.

Als voorbeeld heb ik gekozen voor de Naiskodukaitse – de vrouwenorganisatie met het grootste aantal leden.

ePIC 2016 ist die 14. Konferenz zu ePortfolios, Open Badges, Personal Ledgers, Identitäten und Blockchains. "Lernende und BürgerInnen als Anführer bei Innovationen im pädagogischen und sozialen Bereich" ist das diesjährige Motto der Veranstaltung. Die Teilnehmenden werden eingeladen vertieft über die Bedeutung von Technologie in diesem Zusammenhang nachzudenken. Workshops beschäftigen sich u.a. mit dem Thema Open Badges, mit ePortfolios und mit lernenden Regionen.

Myndigheten för tillgängliga medier, MTM är en statlig myndighet med uppdrag att ge människor med läsnedsättning tillgång till de medier de behöver på det sätt som passar dem. MTM:s vision är ett samhälle där alla medier är tillgängliga.

Personer som har en läsnedsättning kan låna talböcker på sitt bibliotek. Det finns även en tjänst, legimus.se, där man själv kan ladda ner talböcker kostnadsfritt. Mer information om hur man går tillväga för att ladda ner och läsa talböcker finns på legimus.se.

On 5 and 6 April 2016, twenty-eight participants, including representatives of public and community libraries and literacy stakeholders from the government and civil society sectors, convened at the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning (UIL) in Hamburg, Germany, to discuss how public and community libraries can better support local and national literacy policies. The main goal of the meeting was to produce a set of recommendations for local, regional and national governments that will be incorporated into an upcoming UIL policy brief.
