Educazione in carcere

České věznice jdou ve vzdělávání vězňů s dobou. Kromě možnosti získat výuční list z klasických oborů se ve věznici ve Stráži pod Ralskem na Liberecku odsouzení učí také projektovat věci a tvořit je na 3D tiskárnách. Po propuštění tak budou mít větší šanci najít si práci.

El miércoles 11 de septiembre se celebró la jornada de clausura del primer consorcio internacional de educación de personas adultas "Cruzando barreras, rompe barreras", celebrado en el CTIF Madrid Este de Alcalá de Henares. El consorcio lo forman los CEPA penitenciario Clara Campoamor y José Hierro, así como el CEPA Paracuellos del Jarama y el CEPA Villarejo de Salvanés.

Sedici anni fa, un gruppo di giovani siracusani decide di costituirsi in cooperativa sociale, scegliendo come nome “L’Arcolaio”. Obiettivo della cooperativa è quello di favorire il reinserimento socio-lavorativo delle persone ristrette negli Istituti di Prevenzione e Pena e  altri gruppi vulnerabili.

V sklopu projekta FAIR, katerega sofinancira Evropska komisija v okviru programa Justice, smo za obsojence pred izpustom izvedli izobraževalni  program »KOMUNIKACIJA IN PRIPRAVA NA ZAPOSLITEV«. Program je potekal  od marca do junija 2019 v Zavodu za prestajanje zaporne kazni zapora Dob.

Clinks training: Working and volunteering in prison, North West

Clinks is providing a one-day training course that helps to prepare voluntary workers to work in prisons. The event will take place in Liverpool, although training can be organised onsite if an organisation requires it. Training will cover a range of topics and give special focus to theory, self-reflection and practical guidance.

UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning has published Lisa Krolak’s book Books beyond bars: the transformative potential of prison libraries, which discusses prison libraries around the world and considers to what extent they support the rehabilitation of prisoners. It will be most useful for those working in prisons or prison libraries.

Recientemente, el ThinkTank Onward (UK), ha hecho público un estilo que sostiene que 40 horas semanales de educación de adultos, educación significativa "con sentido" en los centros penitenciarios, puede aumentar las expectativas de reinserción y evitar la reincidencia delictiva.  Dicho de otro modo: la enseñanza significativa en los jóvenes adultos es una estrategia de rehabilitación para después de la excarcelación.

Our main areas of educating and focus are:

Trainings for the staff of started on 31 October 2018, General Directorate for Lifelong learning and ended on 15 March 2019 in the context of the Project called European Agenda for Adult Learning, implemented by Ministry of National Education. Trainings were provided in 7 pilot provinces (Malatya, Mardin, Manisa, Eskişehir, Bursa, Ordu, and Hatay) for the staff working in 81 Provincial Directorates of Supervised Freedom Directorates who gives guidance to supervised freedom convicts and ex-convicts.

Mentale Barrieren durchbrechen und den Zugang zu Emotionen schaffen: eine Lernerfahrung beim Gefängnisradio von Salto del Negro. Dort entstand ein einzigartiger Raum, in dem analysiert, diskutiert und gemeinsam zum Thema Umwelt gelernt wird. María Ángelés Pérez Suárez erzählt aus ihren Erfahrungen als Lehrerin in der Justizvollzugsanstalt Las Palmas 1 in Salto del Negro.

Dabei kann es nützlich sein, sich seiner Stärken und Kompetenzen bewusst zu werden, um die ganze Bandbreite möglicher Einsatzbereiche zu erkennen. Eine Beratung mit dem ProfilPASS leistet dies.

L’attention portée sur les personnes souffrant de difficultés ou de troubles des apprentissages (TDA) dans le système de justice pénale (SJP) s’est accrue de manière significative au cours de la dernière décennie. Plusieurs rapports ont été publiés, appellant à l’action non seulement pour identifier les délinquants atteints de TDA, mais aussi pour améliorer les compétences des personnels afin de pouvoir fournir un soutien adapté et concret.

Si è da poco concluso nella Casa Circondariale di Agrigento il laboratorio di disegno, rivolto a  20 ristretti. Un evento unico, trattandosi di detenuti della sezione di alta sicurezza, esempio che comincia a trovare concretezza l’idea che “non serve buttare le chiavi” ma piuttosto trovare “la chiave per far girare le vite”.

Desde la Consejería de Educación y Empleo mediante la Resolución de 3 de junio de 2019, de la Consejería, por la que se dispone la implantación y supresión de enseñanzas en centros docentes públicos no universitarios de la Comunidad Autónoma de Extremadura, se autorizó la implantación de un nuevo ciclo de Formación Profesional Básica de “Agrojardinería y Composiciones Florales” en el Centro Penitenciario de Badajoz, aula perteneciente al CEPA “Abril” de Badajoz.

The European Prison Education Association (EPEA) held their biannual conference in Dublin in June 2019 and celebrated their 25th anniversary. The conference presented many topics for discussion, including mental health, Special Education Needs and prisoners of ethnic minorities. Delegates were able to enjoy a range of talks and workshops and attended an art exhibition in former prison Kilmainham Gaol. EPALE UK Ambassador Jamine Miller reflects on the conference and dicusses what she has learned.

La relazione sottostante rappresenta un progetto di potenziamento delle abilità emotive, sociali e trasversali, realizzato dall' Ass. "Sognatore nel deserto ONLUS" con un gruppo di detenuti della Casa Circondariale Giuseppe Salvia-Poggioreale di Napoli. "Prisoners of hope" è un progetto di recycling-upcycling che coniuga educazione degli adulti, sostenibilità ambientale e solidarietà internazionale. La vita del detenuto, trasfigurato nel manufatto da loro realizzato, diviene metafora di rinascita che diventa esso stesso dono per l'Altro, anche se appartenente ad una realtà percepita come distante.

We want to be your project partner , Adult education ,anger control training , preparation of criminals to life ,substance abuse trainings

I work as a teacher in the Probation Directorate of the Ministry of Justice. Our institution is the State institution. Our company is located in Bandirma. Education and rehabilitation of criminals released from prison is carried out. Anger control training. We provide non-alcohol drug addiction trainings. In addition, we organize vocational trainings in order to bring the offenders in the disadvantaged group to society. The organization has 23 staff. 2 teachers, 2 psychologists and 1 sociologist work as experts. In addition, 1 manager and 17 execution protection officers are employed.

Výuční listy z dvouletých učebních oborů šití prádla a provozní služby si ve středu 26. června v ženské věznici ve Světlé nad Sázavou převzalo 26 odsouzených žen. Další z úspěšných absolventek se předání neúčastnila, protože obor dokončila již v civilním životě na základě individuálního plánu. Včetně letošních 27 učnic, se už ve věznici vyučilo 117 žen, řekla mluvčí věznice Jana Rajdlová.

L’enseignement délivré en prison a fait beaucoup de chemin au cours des dernières années. L’éducation est de plus en plus perçue comme un moyen d’éviter la récidive; les détenus qui sortent avec des qualifications et de nouvelles compétences sont mieux armés pour trouver un emploi qui leur assurera un revenu stable. Les avantages de l’enseignement en milieu carcéral sont évidents pour les prisonniers, mais quels sont-ils pour les professionnels de l’éducation?

Most research has shown that there are at least 1 in 3 people in prison who have one or more Learning Difficulty and/or Disabilities. Different conditions have been included under this umbrella such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Dyslexia, Dyspraxia (also known as Developmental Coordination Disorder) (DCD) or Dyscalculia, Developmental Language Disorders (DLD), and Learning Disabilities. While often considering each condition in isolation, the reality is that they all often overlap and so each person will have a unique pattern of strengths and challenges. Up till now it has been difficult to deliver a practical means of identifying needs and delivering practical support. Using neuroscience and technology, this can now be achieved.
