Confartigianato Imprese Vicenza is a private not-for-profit association and Business Support Organisation (BSO) of Micro and SMEs, based in the city of Vicenza and born in 1945 with the aim of protecting entrepreneurs’ interests and supporting their actions to improve the local economic and social context. Today, it represents around 20,000 members from 39 business sectors.
Throughout the years, our association has also been managing several regionally, nationally and internationally funded projects. As examples: "BOBS" project (LLP Leonardo da Vinci Programme) was implemented in seven different countries (2015-2017), promoting the exchange of good practices among hair and beauty professionals, identifying their future challenges as well as defining BSOs’ most effective support; “FACELOOK” helps companies from the beauty & wellness sector in the development of digital communication strategies in order to better reach all their clients and potential clients; “RECHARGE” deals with relevant issues deriving from the Covid-19 lockdown.
Capitalizing on our association’s experience in supporting over 1.300 companies from that sector, we are looking for Erasmus partners to build a consortium and submit a proposal focusing on the importance of beauty & wellness specialists, especially in such a delicate context affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We would like to bring attention on the therapeutic and social role those specialists play beyond taking care of our bodies: they relieve, observe and listen to us, and may intercept social issues or diseases.
