The e-book with more than 600 pages is the result of the EU project "Volunteers4Europe", which was carried out from 2018 to 2020. In this project, teams from Estonia, France, Germany, Italy and Sweden documented interesting examples of volunteering in their country. The results were also presented to the public through international exhibitions. The project was co-financed by the European funding programme Erasmus Plus. The e-book gives a comprehensive impression of the multifaceted nature of volunteering in Europe.

Många människor som deltar i studiecirklar uppger att de blir mer allmänbildande, stärker sin känsla av social tillhörighet och ökar sina möjligheter att lyckas i arbetslivet. Det framgår av den nya rapport Cirkelns betydelser från Folkbildningsrådet.
Rapporten bygger på två enkätundersökningar med 7850 svarande samt intervjuer med fokusgrupper och enskilda individer. Rapporten är författad av docent Pelle Åberg på Ersta Sköndal Bräcke högskola och frilansskribenten Thor Rutgersson på uppdrag av Folkbildningsrådet.

Sonia's workload has not gone down. Quite the opposite! She guides her Qualifica groups, prepare materials for the school, mark work, participate in meetings, guide and mentor her students. All online and with two children in the background! She has a constant feeling of not being able to give her children her undivided attention because she has to work. While on the other hand, she cannot be as productive in her work because she has to pay attention to the children.

Anya has been working in libraries for 13 years. During the Corona crisis the library staff was working as assistants in sheltered accommodation or spending the day helping elderly residents with tasks such as cleaning, laundry and running errands, and leisure activities. She says that when the crisis is finally over they will definitely not go back to doing everything as they did before.

Anne Tastula works as an editor for Elm Magazine and runs media literacy projects at Finnish Lifelong Learning Foundation KVS. Anne volunteers for organization and website which publishes research-based but easy-to-understand articles on science and health, which was awarded with the Grand Journalist Award for journalistic act of the year 2019 for producing the website.
In the interview for EPALE, she addresses the interplay between media literacy and health literacy during a global pandemic, and tells us how her work as an adult educator has been affected.

The DESI 2020 reports are based on 2019 data. They assess the status of the digital economy and society prior to the pandemic. The current crisis is having a significant impact on key societal indicators relating to the use of internet services by citizens. This does not show in the latest 2019 official statistics reported in DESI. Consequently, the DESI 2020 findings need to be read in conjunction with the large number of digital-related measures taken by the Commission and the Member States in order to manage the pandemic and to support the economic recovery.

Desde febrero de 2020 esta biblioteca digital escolar se ha abierto a todo el alumnado, profesorado y familias de los centros públicos de Castilla y León que imparten enseñanzas de educación primaria, secundaria y educación de personas adultas siendo, hasta el momento, más de 36.000 personas las que ya se han dado de alta en LeoCYL con su usuario y contraseña del Portal de Educación.

Twelve participants from six different countries embarked in a voyage of discoveries during a study visit in Latvia. During the study visit, representatives from Adventure Spirit (Piedzīvojuma Gars) shared main concepts, methodologies, and tools that organization use on an everyday basis working with the target group of young adults to support them in their development, understanding their values, strengths, increase overall cooperation, communication and enhance their ability to create their own workplaces or find a workplace fitting to their needs and skills.

Mariadaniela teaches Humanities and her specialty is School Dispersion. The situation of students not being able to attend school because of the lockdown measures was managed by enhancing distance learning. At her school they were able to use this situation as an opportunity to experiment with new teaching strategies, to use platforms, video lessons, virtual classes and online working groups, and to promote dialogue between teachers and students.

Antud magistritöö ülesandeks oli uurida TTÜ Virumaa kolledži esimese kursuse üliõpilaste eesti keele teise keelena oskust. Magistritöö teoreetilises osas anti ülevaade eesti keele teise keelena osaoskuste mõõtmisest, kõrghariduse saamiseks nõutavast B2 keele tasemest. Täheldatakse, et üldkeele oskus ei tähenda, et sellest piisab erialase keele mõistmiseks ja kasutamiseks.

Teises peatükis tutvustati TTÜ Virumaa kolledžit nagu ainsat Ida-Virumaal tehnilist kõrgharidust pakkuv õppeasutust ja kolledži eesti keele teise keelena õppeainete mooduleid.
