My name is Yilmaz Koca. I work in a public institution providing education for adults in Turkey. We are looking for partners in the KA204 project for the transfer of good practices used in the training of disadvantaged adult convicts in EU countries.

Antalya Denetimli Serbestlik Müdürlüğü (Antalya Probation Office)

Antalya Denetimli Serbestlik Müdürlüğü 2005 yılında merkezde Adalet Bakanlığı Ceza ve Tevkifevleri Genel Müdürlüğüne taşrada ise Antalya Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı'na bağlı olarak kurulan bir kamu kurumudur. Kurumumuz; hizmet binasında; Değerlendirme ve Planlama, Eğitim ve İyileştirme (bireysel görüşme, grup çalışmaları ve seminer odaları), İnfaz , Denetim , Proje , Koruma Kurulları ve Mağdur Destek Hizmetleri Büroları ile faaliyet göstermektedir. Kurumumuzda 17'si uzman (psikolog, sosyal çalışmacı, sosyolog ve öğretmen) ile 24 vaka sorumlusu olmak üzere toplam 96 çalışan bulunmaktadır. Müdürlüğümüz faaliyetlerine mevzuat gereği diğer kurum ve kuruluşlardan ihtiyaç duyulan alanlarda her türlü destek sağlanmaktadır. Kurumumuzda; eğitim ve iyileştirme çalışmalarında kullanılan, 6 bireysel, 4 grup, 2 seminer ve 1 gönüllü çalışma odası ile 1 hobi ve 1 kültür-sanat atölyesi bulunmaktadır. Antalya Denetimli Serbestlik Müdürlüğü'nün en temel misyonu, çocuk, genç ve yetişkin hükümlülere yönelik yapılan eğitim ve iyileştirme çalışmaları ile bu kişileri yeniden topluma kazandırmaktır. Bu kapsamda kurumumuzun; -Mevzuatta belirtilen şartları taşıyan ve ceza infaz kurumlarından denetimli serbestlik tedbiriyle şartlı tahliye edilenler ile hakkında hapis cezası dışındaki seçenek tedbir kararı verilen hükümlülerin; toplum içinde, gerektiğinde elektronik cihazlar da kullanılarak denetim ve takiplerini yapmak, -Madde bağımlısı hükümlülerin rehabilitasyonu ve kontrollü bir şekilde topluma entegrasyonunu sağlamak için, olumlu davranış değişikliğine yönelik eğitim ve iyileştirme çalışmaları uygulamak olmak üzere iki temel çalışma alanı bulunmaktadır. Kurumumuz Eğitim ve İyileştirme Bürosu tarafından hükümlülere yönelik yapılan eğitim ve iyileştirilme çalışmaları kapsamında, yapılan risk ve ihtiyaç değerlendirmesi sonucuna göre; bireysel rehberlik görüşmeleri, psiko-sosyal grup çalışmaları, kişisel gelişim seminerleri, diğer kurumların işbirliğinde bilgilendirme ve sorun çözme becerisine dayalı yaygın eğitimler verilmektedir. Bunun dışında hobi edindirme, sportif ve kültürel faaliyetlere dahil edilerek hükümlülerin topluma kazandırılmasına yönelik iyileştirme çalışmaları yapılmaktadır. Halihazırda 3.876 hükümlünün eğitim, iyileştirme, denetim ve takip çalışmalarını yürütmekteyiz. Kurumumuzun hedef kitlesi ise; başta madde bağımlıları olmak üzere haklarında mahkeme kararı ile denetimli serbestlik tedbiri uygulanan hükümlülerdir. Hükümlülerimizin çoğunluğu özellikle madde bağımlılığı problemi yaşayan dezavantajlı kişilerden oluşmaktadır. Bu kişiler yaşam tarzı ve suç geçmişinden dolayı toplum tarafından ötekileştirilmiş; yaşadıkları olumsuz şartlar nedeniyle eğitim, kültür ve sosyo-ekonomik imkanlara erişemedikleri için davranış ve madde bağımlılığı problemi yaşayan; bu ve benzeri nedenlerle topluma uyum sağlayamayan, sürekli olarak suç ortamında bulunan kişilerdir. Bu kişilerin toplumla yeniden bütünleşmeleri için, ihtiyaçlarına uygun olarak bireyselleştirilmiş rehabilitasyon çalışmalarına alınmaları gerekmektedir. Toplumun suça karşı korunması, güvenli ve sağlıklı bir toplum düzeni için son derece önemli olan rehabilitasyon hizmetleri, Kurumumuzun yaptığı ve yapacağı çalışmalar açısından kilit öneme sahiptir. Bu kapsamda Müdürlüğümüz eğitim ve İyileştirme Bürosunda görevli uzmanlarca hükümlülere bu sorunlarını çözmek için yaygın ve sargın eğitim metotları ile yapılandırılmış müdahale programları uygulanmaktadır.

Beyoğlu Maturation Institute, İstanbul

Teachers who are responsible for adult education will teach each other on the international platform by practicing traditional handicrafts. The project owner, İstanbul Refia Övüç Maturation Institute, will work as the moderator of the platform. The project will provide training in hat making. In this context, the design of the hat, mold work, hat coating, priming, cleaning and decorating will take place. In the field of kitre doll work, there will be steps such as: preparation of the mass, preparation of body mold, head making, make-up, dress preparation, dressing, and preparation of accessories. The project will take a year With the project, international cooperation, cultural exchanges, decreasing of negative perceptions of different cultures, EU experience, increase in foreign language proficiency, increase in diversification of applications, desire to make different collaborations after the project, increase in the desire to take part in international projects, transnational cooperation of colleagues, institutional capacity will be increased. Thanks for that, lots of people have found a new job and amount of vacancies rised up. We organise some konferences and meetings as a speaker and exibitator for jobseekers, youth, for people with low qualification and exluded socially and also for self – employed. The National Association of Enterpreneurship Encouragement organise as well internatinal practise in action KA 1 for a youth to position themselves better at the labor market. Since 2015 we belong to the organisation „ Swietokrzyski Klaster Edukacji Zawodowej” which work for a better profefesional education, economy’s need and local job markets. Kütahya Governorship

Kütahya is a city in western Turkey with 213,000 inhabitants (2007 estimate), lying on the Porsuk river, at 930 metres above sea level. It is the capital of Kütahya Province, inhabited by some 684,082 people (2007 estimate). The city's Roman name was Cotyaeum, a name it retains as a titular Catholic see. Modern city & province The industries of Kütahya have long traditions, going back to ancient times. Kütahya is famous for its kiln products, such as tiles and pottery, which are glazed and multicoloured. Modern industries are sugar refining, tanning, nitrate processing and different products of meerschaum, which is extracted nearby. The local agricultural industry produces cereals, fruits and sugar beet. In addition stock raising is of much importance. Not far from Kütahya there are important mines extracting lignite. Kütahya is linked by rail and road with Balıkesir 250 km (155 mi) to the west, Konya 450 km (280 mi) to the southeast, Eskişehir 70 km (43 mi) northeast and Ankara 300 km (186 mi) east. Kütahya's largest town is Tavşanlı. Kütahya's old neighbourhoods are dominated by traditional Ottoman houses made of wood and stucco, some of the best examples being found along Germiyan Caddesi. The region of Kütahya has large areas of gentle slopes with agricultural land culminating in high mountain ridges to the north and west. The town preserves some ancient ruins, a Byzantine castle and church. During late centuries Kütahya has been renowned for its Turkish earthenware, of which fine specimens may be seen at the national capital. The Kütahya Museum has a fine collection of arts and cultural artifacts from the area. Moreover the Main campus and the Germiyan campus of the Kütahya Dumlupınar University is located in the city. History 3rd millennium BCE: Settled, and known as Kotiaion or Cotyaeum, "the city of the goddess Kotys". It was an important stopover on the road from the Marmara region to Mesopotamia. 12th century BC: Incorporated into the Phrygian kingdom, becoming one of the country's most important cities. Its Greek name was Kotiaion according to its coins, commonly Latinized as Cotyaion, still meaning the city of Cotys. The ancient city became part of the Roman province of Phrygia Salutaris. It was a centre of heresy from the second century onwards. Socrates (IV, xxviii) speaks of its Novatian bishop. At first a simple suffragan of Synnada, it became an autocephalous archbishopric, probably in the eighth century, and about the tenth appears as a metropolis with three suffragan sees, which were later increased to thirteen (?). Lequien (I, 851) mentions ten bishops, the last in the fourteenth century. The first is Cyrus, sent thither by Theodosius II, after four bishops had been slain by the inhabitants. Around 700 BC: Phrygia collapses, but Kotiaion position as a strong city survives. 1071 CE: Conquered by the Seljuks. Around 1095: Conquered by the Crusaders. 1182: Reconquered by the Seljuks. 1302: Becomes capital of the Germiyan Turkmen principality. It was taken and plundered by Timur-Leng (Tamerlane) in 1402. 1428: Becomes part of the Ottoman Empire. 1514: Sultan Selim I resettles tile-workers from Tabriz in Kütahya and İznik after defeating the Persians. With this Kütahya emerges as a centre for the Ottoman ceramic industry, producing tiles and faience for mosques, churches and official buildings in places all over the Middle East. 19th century: With the fast growth of Eskişehir 70 km away, Kütahya has lost much of its regional and economic importance. It was under Ottoman rule the chief town of a sanjak in the vilayet of Brusa, called by the Turks Kutaya. It had about 22,000 inhabitants, including 4,000 Greeks, 2,300 Armenians, 700 Catholic Armenians, and a few Latins; it contains two schools. It is also the see of a non-Catholic Armenian bishop. Notable people Aesop, the ancient Greek writer of fables, is believed to have been born in the city. Evliya Çelebi, Turkish globe traveler and author. Lajos Kossuth : Hungarian lawyer, politician and Regent-President of the Kingdom of Hungary in 1849.
