Media społecznościowe zaczęły w ostatnich latach odgrywać istotną rolę w budowaniu kariery zawodowej i dla wielu doradców zawodowych stały się integralną częścią codziennych praktyk. Jednak to właśnie sami doradcy zawodowi nie do końca są przekonani, jak najlepiej wdrażać i wykorzystywać media społecznościowe w codziennych działaniach i komunikowaniu się.

I höst kommer det att finnas möjligheter för personer som arbetar med validering att fortbilda sig. En grundläggande interaktiv utbildning kommer att finnas tillgänglig via Skolverkets webbplats från augusti. I september startar uppdragsutbildningen Validering i praktiken (7,5 hp) på Linnéuniversitetet och på Linköpings universitet. Studie- och yrkesvägledare inom vuxenutbildningen är den primära målgruppen. Med fortbildning kan kompetensen öka om hur en kompetens-kartläggning görs och hur resultaten från en validering kan tolkas.

It is widely accepted that early school leavers face increased levels of social exclusion, poverty and unemployment – the recognition of this in the Europe 2020 strategy established specific goals in relation to this cohort. Achieving the goal in question would see the school-leaving rate of this group drop to below 10% and to date, 17 Member States (including Ireland) have achieved this target, which is extremely positive. However there is no room for complacency and it should be noted that the early school leaving rate had already been falling steadily since 2002, therefore it could be said that targets adopted by Member States such as Ireland (8%) were already quite reachable.

While widening participation (WP) may be a strategy used by higher education to encourage progression into higher level learning for the ‘hard-to-reach’ – in my experience in Wales, WP has stayed some distance from mental health (MH) service users – I think this is a mistake. The lack of a WP strategy in MH has left a ‘hard-to-reach’ population – well, ‘harder-to-reach’. In addition, such absence continues to allow learning in MH to remain defined by therapy and illness management. I will share how we are trying to change this in Wales and how we are introducing a WP strategy in MH

Kurso metu atskleidžiamos informavimo ir konsultavimo sampratos andragogo vadybinės veiklos kontekste, analizuojami efektyvaus informavimo ir konsultavimo principai. Kurso metu pristatomi komunikacijos teorijos pradmenys siekiant geriau suprasti besimokančiųjų informavimo principus. Analizuojant konsultavimo procesą, gilinamasi į besimokančiųjų pažinimo metodus.

Nordiskt nätverk för Vägledning inom Nordiskt nätverk för vuxnas lärande (NVL) kartlägger i en utredning hur samarbetet mellan utbildnings- och arbetsmarknadssektorerna ser ut. I utredningen redogörs för hur samordningen organiseras konkret och också för olika former av informellt samarbete mellan sektorerna.Samordningen av vägledningen beskrivs med fokus på de vuxnas möjligheter att utveckla sina karriärkompetenser och bidrar till att skapa meningsfulla övergångar på arbetsmarknaden och mellan utbildning och arbetsliv.

Belfast's second Festival of Learning took place 20-26th March, under the theme of putting people at the heart of learning. EPALE UK was delighted to take part and run an event during the week, demonstrating the site's riches to an audience from the FE and community/voluntary sectors - and facilitating debate around outreach and inclusion in adult learning.

V juniju 2016 smo na Razvojno izobraževalnem centru Novo mesto uspešno zagnali projekt Dejavnost informiranja in svetovanja ter ugotavljanje in vrednotenje neformalno pridobljenega znanja od 2016 do 2022. V konzorciju Osrednje JV regije pod okriljem vodilnega partnerja RIC-a Novo mesto svetovalno dejavnost za zaposlene izvajajo še partnerji CIK Trebnje, GRM Novo mesto – center biotehnike in turizma ter Šolski center Novo mesto.

GOAL “Guidance and Orientation for Adult Learners” is an Erasmus+ KA3 project (Policy Experimentations) funded by the European Commission. This three-year project, which started in February 2015, is a multi-country policy experimentation focusing on the further development of guidance services for low-educated adults. In November, the Institute of Education published the Cross-Country Report Wave 1, presenting the interim findings of the GOAL Wave 1 evaluation for all six partner countries combined. The evaluation is based on quantitative data collected in field trials, conducted between April 2015 and May 2016, and qualitative interviews and focus groups carried out in April and May 2016.

On 9-10 November, the Nordic + Erasmus National Agencies in Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, Nordic EPALE, the Nordic Network for Adult Learning (NVL) and Euroguidance in Iceland held a contact seminar with participants from all the Nordic countries. The aim was to establish contacts with potential future partners on an Erasmus Plus project. From my country Sweden came about 5 participants.

The Directorate for Lifelong Learning within the Ministry for Education and Employment proudly hosted the EPALE (Electronic Platform for Adult Learning in Europe) Awards 2016 last Thursday at Le Méridien Hotel – the first awards ceremony of its kind among European countries.  The ceremony was a celebration of adult education initiatives and provided formal recognition of adult learners and adult educators.

El Grupo de Investigación IDEO de la Universidad de Jaén celebrará los días 8, 9 y 10 de septiembre de 2016, el III Congreso Internacional sobre Diagnóstico y Orientación con el tema de "Orientación educativa en la sociedad actual".

El congreso tratará temas diversos con el objetivo final de recoger investigaciones, experiencias y propuestas que lleven a una mayor relevancia de la orientación tanto en un plano educativo como social y laboral.
