The 5th International Workshop on Learning Technology for Education in Cloud (LTEC)

The 5th International Workshop on Learning Technology for Education in Cloud (LTEC 2016) will provide a forum for discussing research and presentation of your work.

Contributions addressing theory, research, practice and policy are welcome. The aim is to provide the definitive work in the very broad area of educational technology that bridges theory, research, practice and policy. You have the opportunity to present your research to an international audience.

The Għaqal id-Dar, Ħajja Aħjar course is the result of a Public Social Partnership between the Ministry for the Family and Social Solidarity, the Parliamentary Secretariat for Local Government and the Home Economists in Action. It is composed of FREE 10-session community course aimed to help adults make better use of their resources in order to improve their and their family's quality of life.

 

Courses will be run in the following 4 localities:

Wie komme ich zu einer guten Beratung?

Die Jahrestagung des Deutschen Verbandes für Bildungs- und Berufsberatung e.V.  fokussiert die Ausbildung von Beraterinnen und Beratern. Welche Kompetenzen werden in der Ausbildung erworben und weiterentwickelt? Wie orientieren sich Ratsuchende auf dem zunehmend unübersichtlichen Beratungsmarkt?

The Directorate for Lifelong Learning and Early School Leavers within the Ministry of Education and Employment in Malta, is led by a vision that learning should be a lifelong journey for everyone. Individuals and communities need to acquire skills which are relevant to their lives, their needs and their work.

The Directorate offers policy guidance and organises adult learning courses through more personalised and innovative approaches to education. Anne Bugeja, an adult educator, teaches the cookery and nutrition course in such a way.   

Le Centre d'Information sur les Droits des Femmes et des Familles de Gironde ( CDIFF 33 ) a mis à disposition en 2015 une vidéo mettant en scène des femmes qui exercent des métiers dits " d'hommes". A travers des saynètes et par des témoignages de femmes, les stéréotypes sont dénoncés. 

 

Le CDIFF gironde ouvre des formations pour que les femmes aient accès à des métiers dits masculins.

The Survey of Adult Skills is part of the OECD’s Programme of International Assessment of Adult Competences (PIAAC). It is a rich resource and one that should inform discussions such as this one being held by EPALE to mark International Women’s Day.

Când auzi „mașină germană”, până să apuci să te gândești la o marcă anume, creierul tău deja procesează: „fiabilitate”, „eleganță”, „siguranță”… Astea sunt cuvintele care-ți vin în creier.

Când auzi bibliotecă, primul lucru la care-ți fuge mintea este cartea. Apoi, în funcție de experiența fiecăruia, s-ar putea să te gândești fie la un loc prăfuit, cu personal înțepat, fie la bibliotecara din copilărie, care te ajuta la teme și-ți dădea sâmbăta desene animate.

Heb je je ooit afgevraagd of onderwijs een rol speelt bij de bestrijding van obesitas in de OESO-landen? Of welke impact de toenemende verstedelijking heeft op onze scholen, gezinnen en lokale gemeenschappen? Of dat nieuwe technologieën de wijze waarop onze kinderen leren echt fundamenteel veranderen?

Mit dem Einzug digitaler Bildungsressourcen und Lernmedien in der Erwachsenenbildung steigt auch der Bedarf an entsprechendem juristischem Wissen. Das kann man sich seit einigen Monaten in einem MOOC holen.
‘Thirteen women, drawn from three local traveller communities took part in a six-week glass workshop at the Hunt museum. Using the fragile material of glass to express their ideas of home, the work presents themes of family, faith and current life on a travellers site in Limerick city’.

EIS ALP (European Induction Support for Adult Learning Professionals to the Correctional Criminal Justice System) is a dynamic and innovative partnership between 10 partners from 5 different European countries, dedicated to developing the education received by those in prison. User Voice was asked to produce a report describing the project, it's partners, their activity and the wider impacts the project has on the adult learning professionals as well as offenders themselves.

EIS ALP (European Induction Support for Adult Learning Professionals to the Correctional Criminal Justice System) is a dynamic and innovative partnership dedicated to developing the education received by those in prison. User Voice has produced this report discussing the activity of partner organisations from Romania, Slovenia, Malta, Portugal and the UK. The report also summarises the EIS ALP project and considers the impact its findings and developed tools will have, not only on prison educators, but on the prisoners themselves.

Dvanásť skúsených slovenčinárov, dejepisárov a zemepisárov absolvuje v Humennom školenie k výučbe azylantov. Pre zjednodušenie adaptačného procesu totiž ministerstvo školstva v spolupráci s Centrom ďalšieho vzdelávania UK Bratislava pripravilo špeciálny vzdelávací program. V rámci neho sa azylanti budú učiť slovenčinu, ale aj slovenské reálie.

„Zaujímavosťou je, že výučba nebude prebiehať v tábore, ale na miestnom gymnáziu a v prípade učiva dejepisu alebo zemepisu dokonca v teréne. Lektori ich zoberú napríklad do skanzenu alebo do múzea,“ povedal minister školstva Juraj Draxler.

Dokument predstavuje vzdelávací program vzdelávania učiteľov slovenského jazyka, resp. učiteľov cudzieho jazyka a humanitných predmetov/odborov v súvislosti so vzdelávaním azylantov/migrantov zo Sýrie. Prostredníctvom jazykového vzdelávania v slovenskom jazyku majú migranti získať základné spôsobilosti komunikovať v slovenskom jazyku v novom jazykovom prostredí.

Impulzom pre vytvorenie vzdelávania učiteľov slovenského jazyka, resp. učiteľov cudzieho jazyka a humanitných predmetov/odborov je zvýšený počet cudzincov (149) azylantov/migrantov zo Sýrie (asýrski kresťania z Iraku), ktorí na území Slovenska (t. č. záchytný tábor Humenné) žiadajú o azyl.

Prioritou je ich rýchla adaptácia v inonárodnom, teda v slovenskom prostredí. Jedným zo základných predpokladov ich rýchlej adaptácie je získať základné spôsobilosti/kompetencie komunikovať v slovenskom jazyku v novom jazykovom prostredí a postupne tieto komunikačné kompetencie zdokonaľovať.
