Tools to better understand Circular Economy
The circular economy is a model of production and consumption, which involves sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products as long as possible. In this way, the life cycle of products is extended.
In practice, it implies reducing waste to a minimum. When a product reaches the end of its life, its materials are kept within the economy wherever possible. These can be productively used again and again, thereby creating further value.
This is a departure from the traditional, linear economic model, which is based on a take-make-consume-throw away pattern. This model relies on large quantities of cheap, easily accessible materials and energy.
"International Association for Sustainable Positive Growth" is a private NGO whose one of the fields of work is circular economy and as in nowdays the importance of this topic is growing rapidly, we are planning to build a project (or would like to be a part of other consortium) that would work on educating society on this topic or promoting ideas circular economy to as large audience, as possible.
Project can be either in the fields adult education or higher education.
We are looking for organisations that are also working or have experts in circular economy and would love to cooperate in promoting Circular Economy.
