Magistritöö eesmärgiks on mõista, millise tähenduse omistavad täiskasvanud keele õppijad videokõne teel toimunud keeleõppe kogemusele. Uurides täiskasvanud õppijat, kes õpib keelt videokõne vahendusel toimunud tundides ning keskendudes peaasjalikult õppijapoolsele kogemuse kirjeldusele refleksiooni formaadis, loob see teadmise, milline on videokõne vahendusel toimunud keeleõppe kogemuse tähendus. Õpikogemuse saamine välisest keskkonnast ning selle muutumine õppija päris osaks avaks Jarvise (2006, 87) transformatiivse kogemuse tähendust.
