Στις 21 και 22 Μαΐου πραγματοποιήθηκε η πρώτη συνάντηση των εταίρων του έργου E-mploy Me! στην πόλη Gijón της Ισπανίας. Το έργο E-mploy-Me! είναι ένα καινοτόμο έργο που χρηματοδοτείται από το πρόγραμμα Erasmus+ KA2, με κύριο στόχο την προώθηση της κοινωνικής και εργασιακής ένταξης των άνεργων μεταναστριών μέσω της ενδυνάμωσής τους και μέσω ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων. Chanet Siret Simonen soovitab lugeda Stephen Kingi raamatut "Kirjutamisest. Mälestusraamat ametioskusestest" (Kirjastus Hea Lugu, 2018), et mõtestada lugusid ning nende kirjutamise
maagiat. Chaneti sõnul annab raamatu autor väga praktilisi nõuandeid ja reaalseid näiteid, kuidas kirjutada hästi ja mõjusalt. Lisaks toob King nähtavale kogu kirjutamisprotsessi, et saavutada enda kirjutamise eesmärgid.

Raamatu lugemine aitab neid, kel vaja kirjutada mõjuvaid tekste.

Field research on the employment of ex-convicts and probationers

Surveys were carried out with 8,243 employers active across 81 provinces of Turkey and 1,890 ex-convicts and probationers as part of the "European Agenda for Adult Learning 4" project carried out within the Ministry of National Education General Directorate for Life Long Learning with backing by the European Union. The main purpose of these surveys is to determine the issues regarding the employment of ex-convicts and probationers in Turkey, and to reveal the views of these people and as well as employers on this topic.

The MATCHSI Toolkit was developed to help those hoping to gain work experience to match with an ideal host company, ensuring that learning is appropriately targeted and useful. The project brought together partners from seven EU countries. The Toolkit and accompanying resources can be downloaded.

For the 10th consecutive year, BCSDN has analyzed how the European Commission has treated the issue of civil society development and assessed the progress made in the Enlargement countries within the Commission Enlargement Package 2019 published recently, setting the analysis against BCSDN’s Monitoring Matrix on Enabling Environment for Civil Society Development.

E- novice  Slovenske univerze za tretje življenjsko obdobje in E-Slovenian U3A International News že deseto leto, vsaj osemkrat v letu, oddidejo na približno 4000 naslovov. So edina periodična publikacija v Sloveniji (z izjemo znanstvene revije Kakovostna starost), ki se ukvarja izključno z vprašanji starejših od 45 let, njihovim razvojem in predvsem izobraževanjem, kulturo in umetnostjo, pa tudi  njihovo vključenostjo v družbeni in ekonomski razvoj.

The use of Web 2.0 technology in teaching and learning activity has given learners and lecturers many opportunities to establish intensive communication and interaction virtually. Some direct feedback can be given by the lecturer to the students using Web 2.0. Adult learners as self-directed learners in higher education with rich resources of learning experiences can potentially use Web 2.0 to support their collaborative learning activities.

Ниската квалификация, отпадането от системата за образование и обучение, както и дълготрайната безработица, са взаимосвързани феномени, които често следват един от  друг. Пропуснатите по време на ранното детство, училищната възраст и юношеството възможности често са причина лицата в неравностойно положение да попаднат в кръговрата на социалната маргинализация, която води до още по-неблагоприятни последствия.
