News from around Europe
May was a busy month for the adult learning sector in Europe:
- In Belgium the Flemish Support Centre for Adult Education launched a survey to collect ideas for promoting literacy among adults with low literacy levels in Flanders (NL).
- Meanwhile in the Czech Republic the government started planning to increase expenditure in education in line with planned developments (CS).
- Montenegro’s education sector is also undergoing changes as the Chamber of Economy and the Ministry of Education organised a round table on the amendments to the Law of Education (ME).
