The reACT project finally came to conclusion.

Find out more about our experience and available resources for women’s empowerment

After two years of in-depth implementation and development, the reACT consortium is glad to communicate that we have available a wide set of results for targets, groups of interest and STKHs of relevance for the upscale and sustainability of our project.

The aim of this project is to foster women access to the EU job market and support their capacity building.

reACT supports the development of basic and transversal skills (such as sense of initiative, critical thinking, entrepreneurship, self-employment) in an innovative way: a bottom-up and demand driven approach stemming from the expertise and experience of seasoned VET practitioners and technical experts. Moreover, reACT leverage the integration of digital solutions and ICT in learning, teaching and training by developing, testing and validating and finally deploying at full scale an Open Educational Resource that will allow to exploit and mainstream project results outside the realm of the partnership and in other EU realities and countries. The website and all project’s results are available for free in 4 languages (EN, TK, IT, ES) so as to widen even further replicability opportunities behind the formal scale of the partnership.

Throughout the first cycle of implementation, partners finalised a cross-dimensional and transnational Gender Impact Assessment, aimed at analysing the different effects and impacts (positive, negative or neutral) of any policy or activity implemented to specific items in terms of gender equality. This document is intended to inform policy makers and other public institutions on create gaps and threats to social inclusion and equal opportunities for women, with specific reference to rural and disadvantaged areas. From a project-based perspective, the GIA’s activities were instrumental in defining the key training areas to nurture women’s (self) employability in the labour market.

This training modules tackle two different level: basic, for an introduction to the very essentials of business literacy; and advanced, for more in-depth knowledge on business start-up.

The overall focus is on:

sense of initiative and entrepreneurial attitude, ICT tools for entrepreneurship, successful stories and case studies, development of a business plan (content and structure), support services for entrepreneurship, online communication and visibility strategies (i.e., public awareness), Business Model Canvas.

All reACT resources are available for free and in Multilanguage version via the official project’s website:
