March 8 the Productive Woman Festival was held on the International Women’s Day, March 8 in Mardin, the city of languages and religions.
Displaying the labors and products of productive women, this festival was in a feast atmosphere. With songs, plays, and folk dances, the festival was like a carnival showing the productivity and power of women and also what they can achieve when appropriate opportunities are provided. Joined by more than 20 cities, this festival enabled women to express themselves and exhibit their works as well as making them more self-confident. We’re looking forward to the next March 8.
