Bursa Maturity Institution is a public body which is responsible for implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the lifelong learning to disseminate in the country. The institution works with the coordination of MoNE. The institution was established on 02/09/1996, has 3 classrooms and 12 workshops, 1 archive. Moreover there is a museum incidental to the institution. The institution has 5 Administrators, 34 teachers, 53 qualified instructor, 4 assistant staff. There are 110 students at the institution now, but the number of students will increase as we are eager to disseminate our implementations via projects. The institution has been affiliated to Life Long Learning General Directorate Programme under Ministry of National Education. The institution offers vocational training in many branches such as Visual arts, Handicraft Technoogy and Design, Clothing Production Technology, Tekstile Technology, Ceramics and Glass Design, Graphic and Photograpy and food and beverages services. Our institution has been carrying out researches in all cultural fields, development and archival topics in addition to the educational activities, by the purpose of survival of traditional Turkish clothing and handicrafts, and to transfer them to future generations, and also applies them on clothing, accessories, gifts and other products with original designs. It also carries out the task of promoting Turkish culture not only in the country but also international area.
