The theme of the event will be the wellbeing of workers on the frontline, which is continually growing in importance following funding cuts, organisational and welfare reforms. The Mind Body Spirt Ltd Wellbeing Festival returns to London Olympia to deliver over 48 workshops that explore a range of mindfulness practices over the course of four days. The festival can be enjoyed by anyone, but may be of particular interest to those working in the mental health sector, healthcare, as a carer, or as a mental health first aider. Attendees can enjoy performances, including those that incorporate dance, music and yoga, plus much more.
Held in Solihull, Birmingham, this mindfulness course is designed to introduce attendees to mindfulness techniques in order to help them relax, reduce stress and build confidence. It can be beneficial to anyone, but may be of particular appeal to people working in mental health or who act as mental health first aiders at work.
Aim of the training: The aim of the course is to enable the participants to intervene in the workplace and daily life in case of sudden illness or injury and to gain basic life support when necessary. First Aid Training is among the trainings for all people in your home, at work and in your life.
Number of participants: It is organized in groups of 17 people.
