KA1 courses in TENERIFE: multiculturalism, sustainability, art-based teaching, active learning

Hi all. 

We´d like to offer our collaboration as hosting organization for Erasmus+ courses for teachers and staff in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. For some topics, we can also arrange job-shadowing visits.

Courses topics: intercultural skills, diversity, active learning methodologies, art-based techniques, STEM and science and sustainable development.  For groups of min 6-8 teachers from the same institution we organize tailor-made courses based on your specific needs.

Autoři různých učebních teorií a metod slibují rychlé a trvalé výsledky, motivované studenty a učitele. Zatímco oni sami těchto výsledků dosáhnou, u ostatních uživatelů k dosažení vytčených cílů nedochází. I pokud se využije příkladů dobré praxe, dosáhne se jen zřídkakdy kýžených výsledků. Studující tedy sbírají různé zkušenosti a zjištují, jak dosáhnout úspěchu. A právě to se mi jeví jako dobré téma do diskuze. Vzdělání se automatizuje, protože se využívá různých forem učebních strategií a metod. Ale třeba právě kombinace různých forem nemusí vést ke spokojenosti. V čem spočívá to, že i při shromáždění tolika různých zkušeností,  je tak těžké dosáhnout úspěchu?

Using Non-Conventional Water Resources Management for applying Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in formal and non formal education

This course is based on the educational pack "ALTER AQUA" that has been extensively applied since 2009 by some 3.000 educators in Greece, Malta and Cyprus! Many of the conventional methods of securing water supply have proved to be non sustainable in the long run. As a result, Non-Conventional Water Resources Management (NCWRM), and namely: rainwater harvesting, greywater recycling and wastewater recycling, has become increasingly important in recent years, especially in water scarce countries. Proper education (formal, non formal, informal) can effectively elucidate the misconceptions and support the diffusion of innovative ideas and solutions that NCWRs promise to deliver.

Program Erasmus+, jak podkreślają jego liczni uczestnicy, daje nam m. in. nieocenioną możliwość poznania metod pracy naszych kolegów z innych krajów. Dzięki programowi Erasmus+ miałam możliwość odwiedzić w ubiegłym roku dwie szkoły w Finlandii: liceum dla dorosłych w Kuopio oraz liceum dla dorosłych w Helsinkach, porozmawiać z ich słuchaczami i nauczycielami oraz poznać organizację i metody nauczania – uczenia się w fińskich szkołach.

Wraz z końcem roku kalendarzowego 2018 r. zakończyliśmy projekt POWER SE „Wymiana doświadczeń i dobrych praktyk poprzez udział w Job shadowingu nauczycieli z Radowa Małego”. Dzięki projektowi 20 nauczycieli ze szkoły z Radowo Małego mogło uczestniczyć w zagranicznych wyjazdach typu Job shadowing. Nauczyciele odwiedzili takie państwa jak: Niemcy, Włochy, Belgia i Anglia. Wizyta w każdym państwie była ściśle związana z głównymi założeniami projektu, czyli:

Adult education provider from Lithuania is searching for organisations from all EU countries for Erasmus+ KA1 project about GENERATIONAL ISSUES IN ADULT EDUCATION. We are interested in this topic, because we teach adults of very different ages - from 18 to 65. Also we are doing research about specifics of communication, problem solving peculiarities and creativity skills of different generations.

Sending partners for KA1 course in London, UK : ‘Positive futures: Building cultural, linguistic and personal confidence’. This 5-day course is for teachers, trainers, support workers and mentors from organisations working with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, including unaccompanied children and young people. Participants will develop their knowledge, confidence and skills around validating and increasing resilience, valuing cultural diversity and supporting and motivating their learners. The programme will explore how to build on learners’ strengths, what enables recover from multiple traumas and what can help people build new lives.
