With a network of 1100+ host companies in the local business community, Intern Europe can offer a wide breadth of work placements and job shadowing activities in different sectors. The comprehensive network of companies, colleges and language trainers allows the organisation of educational visits, workshops and seminars corresponding to the specific requirements. As an intermediary organisation, Intern Europe will coordinate projects in three locations of the United Kingdom and will manage all aspects of participants’ mobility and work placements.

L’intégration des migrants passe par l’emploi et l’emploi passe par l’apprentissage de la langue du pays d’accueil. Pistes-Solidaires est partenaire depuis septembre 2018 du projet WORK-VR. Un projet lancé par l’organisme danois VIFIN portant sur l’utilisation de la réalité virtuelle au service de l’apprentissage des langues et de l’insertion. Le but est de créer une plateforme de formation en ligne pour l’apprentissage de compétences linguistiques et culturelles liées au travail.

Zespół Szkół im. ks. Stanisława Staszica w tarnobrzegu po raz kolejny zorganizował i sfinalizował projekt uczniowskich staży zagranicznych całkowicie sfinansowany ze środków unijnych. Dwie grupy uczniów z tarnobrzeskiego Górnika w ramach tego projektu wyjeżdżali do  Irlandii, aby odbyć staż w firmach związanych z ich zawodem. Pierwsza 21-osobowa grupa odbyła staże w kwietniu 2019 w miejscowości Mallow, położonej w południowo-zachodniej części Irlandii.

Our project aims to make more accessible and attractive meals for a person living with chewing and swallowing difficulties (elderly, illness people or with disabilities). The project has an adult education approach and is focused on developing learning guides for people working with these disorders (professionals, caregivers, families and patients).

Leadership & management in educational establishements

Schools and Establishment leadership have become a priority in education policy agendas internationally. This area plays a key role in improving organisational outcomes by influencing the motivations and capacities of staff teams, as well as the climate and environment. Effective organisational leadership is essential to improve the efficiency and equity in Education at all levels. As countries are seeking to adapt their education systems to the needs of contemporary society, expectations for educational establishments and organisational leaders are changing. Many countries have moved towards decentralisation, making establishments more autonomous in their decision making and holding them more accountable for results. At the same time, the requirement to improve overall student performance while serving more diverse student populations is adding pressure to use more evidence-based practices. Because of these trends, the function of organisational leadership is now increasingly defined by a demanding set of roles which include financial and human resource management and leadership for learning. There are concerns across countries that the role of leaders as conceived for needs of the past is no longer appropriate. In many countries, they have heavy workloads; many are reaching retirement and it is getting harder to replace them. Potential candidates often hesitate to apply, because of overburdened roles, insufficient preparation and training, limited career prospects and inadequate support and rewards. These developments have made organisational leadership a priority in education systems across the world.

The ‘Efficient & effective Project Management for EU funded projects’ (PMEU) is a masterclass course that equips all those involved in the management/coordination as well as all those responsible for the technical and financial progress on behalf of their institutions with the required knowledge and expertise in dealing in an efficient & effective manner with the management of EU funded projects. This course is a masterclass course delivered by experts in the area of EC funded projects and it has been designed in an easy-to-follow manner, irrespective of the experience of the delegates in the specific field of study. The course will offer substantial help and benefit to a wide range of individuals, such as project managers, project coordinators, research officers, legal representatives (i.e. school principals, directors) as well as those working in the International Relations Office of Universities, to deal with the ever-demanding needs of reporting and monitoring of EC funded projects. Było to międzynarodowe szkolenie, które odbyło się w dniach od 23 do 26 września w Centrum Spotkań Europejskich „Światowid” w Elblągu w ramach projektu Erasmus+ pn. „Elbląscy edukatorzy dla seniorów”.

Nu har regeringen fattat beslut om förslag till ny lagstiftning för att stärka den kommunala vuxenutbildningen (komvux). För att fler vuxna ska få möjlighet att gå en yrkesutbildning som leder raka vägen till jobb har regeringen också beslutat att öka statens finansiering av den gymnasiala yrkesutbildningen inom komvux (regionalt yrkesvux). Syftet är att stärka kompetensförsörjningen, snabba på integrationen och öka omställningsförmågan på arbetsmarknaden.

Looking for hosting partner (KA1)

The Volkshochschule (Folk high school) Selb is holder of an Erasmus+ KA1 project. We are looking for partners to host two members of staff. Job shadowing should be in the field of language teaching for migrants, computertraining and accompaniment of learners.

Currently we prepare a new KA1 project from 2020 to 2022. For this we are also looking for hosting partners, especially in the field of blended learning offers
