Euridea is an educational institute with a penchant for music. It provides courses for performers, other professionals in the music sector and adult amateurs.
Besides activities carried out at national level (such as the "Course in Management of Music Festivals" or "Techniques and interpretation of ancient music") Euridea works at transnational level, especially in Europe, with partners from many different countries.
Work at European level includes cooperation in musical festivals and performances and educational activities, such as those carried out in "Tesst" (choral singing focused on traditional music) or "Mars" (psycho-social music practice within under-resourced, deprived and marginalised communities).
Euridea contributes to Musinc sharing with the other partners and those interested in learning more about the work of community musicians, the Co.Re. experience, an extraordinary example of musical work with old people developed in the Empolese area (Province of Florence, Italy) by freelance community musicians and social educators.
Euridea also shares with the partners its experience in distance learning gained in many years of cooperation with proficient partners from all over Europe. This includes setting up and managing the project's website and Moodle platform.
