SERA+ is a comprehensive educational program of more than 1,500 hours dedicated to both those detained and identified as radicalized or at risk of radicalization hosted in prisons, as well as target groups (early school leavers, social day activity centres, underprivileged neighbourhoods, …) that move freely but can evolve towards violent extremist phenomena.
SERA+ is articulating the results of several European projects to compose a program of social, professional, family, social and with oneself reconciliations over a period of one year.
SERA+ is dedicated to professionals (and/or targeted volunteers) involved in specialized prevention, child protection, school drop-out, socio-professional integration, non formal education, educational activities in ordinary settings or in prison environments. As non-exhaustive list, professionals may be prison teachers/trainers, psychologists, insertion counsellors, probation officers, prison staffs, sports instructors, etc.
The training session as proposed organizes the different productions so that participants can use methodological guides, educational resources, assessment and enhancement tools. All SERA+ productions are organized around 7 of the 8 European key skills at the same time as 16 cross-curricular skills, all with the aim of opening up the capacity for self-reflection and preparing a social and professional life project.
SERA+ resources are free of access and use, but SERA+ training of participants is not for free.
