EdTech Center Western Balkans (Centar za obrazovne tehnologije na Zapadnom Balkanu) was established in 2018 in Serbia by experts and practitioners in the field of education, who united around the idea of improving the quality of education in the Western Balkans by connecting it with the world of technology.
Their work aims to establish a smarter and better use of information and communication technologies at all levels of education, improve teachers’ digital skills and competencies, develop policies related to the use of ICT tools in education and promote best practices in the field.
We spoke to Jelena Dragaš, project manager at the EdTech Center, about the topic and she introduced us to many of the activities this new organisation is engaged in.
