KA1 courses in TENERIFE: multiculturalism, sustainability, art-based teaching, active learning

Hi all. 

We´d like to offer our collaboration as hosting organization for Erasmus+ courses for teachers and staff in Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. For some topics, we can also arrange job-shadowing visits.

Courses topics: intercultural skills, diversity, active learning methodologies, art-based techniques, STEM and science and sustainable development.  For groups of min 6-8 teachers from the same institution we organize tailor-made courses based on your specific needs.

The Foundation Tempus is organizing the Project Academy, intended for public and private pre-school institutions, primary schools, gymnasiums, vocational education and training schools as well as adult education providers, as part of its activities for supporting the subjects who intend to apply for KA2 strategic partnership projects under the Erasmus+ 2019 Call for Proposals.

La conférence s'est tenue le 25 octobre 2018 à Bruxelles. Organisée par les équipes EPALE & EAAL de Belgique, du Luxembourg et de France, cette journée à réuni plus de 220 participants.

Quelle définition donner à l'inclusion sociale? Quelle réalité sociologique recouvre-t-elle au niveau européen? Quels dispositifs nationaux de formation des adultes sont mis en place dans les trois pays? Comment L'Europe répond-elle à ce défi? Autant de questions auxquelles les intervenants et participants ont tenté de répondre. 


 We are preparing a Youth Exchange project which aims at mobility of the physically and mentally disabled young people. The objective of the project is to contribute the more participation the disabled into social and economic life . We are planning a mobility which helps them improve skills and competences by doing activities such as meeting new people and cultures, taking part in the sport, handcrafs, music, archery, cooking activities. We would like to apply for the project and act the transnational mobility in one of the partners' country. 


We are, as a network of Spanish and Italian non profit organizations and  schools, interested in joining new partnerships as a partner (intermediary/ hosting). We have completed KA2 and KA1 projects in last years.


We are currently working on these themes that maibe are of your interest and we can deepen together:

o Alternating training - work and curriculum

o Simulated training enterprise, Entrepreneurship and spirit of initiative

o Orienteering in the work world through company visits, job shadowing and internships

Materiał w języku angielskim zawiera scenariusze pięcu warsztatów na temat przemocy wobec ludzi starszych. Można je przeprowadzić zarówno w cyklu, jak i oddzielnie. Uczestnikami mogą być osoby pracujące z seniorami, seniorzy oraz ludzie młodsi zainteresowani tematem.

Scenariusze są wynikiem pracy w projekcie "Violence - Important Problem".

Nowadays, most of the energy we use comes from fossil fuels such as oil, natural gas and coal. Fossil fuels are non-renewable and will eventually run out because we are using them much faster than they can be restored within the earth. Furthermore fossil fuel use has tremendous impact on the world ecology and global climate. Burning fossil fuels generates greenhouse gases and relying on them for energy generation is unsustainable. Hence the need to find more renewable, sustainable ways of generating energy.

Sending partners for KA1 course in London, UK : ‘Positive futures: Building cultural, linguistic and personal confidence’. This 5-day course is for teachers, trainers, support workers and mentors from organisations working with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, including unaccompanied children and young people. Participants will develop their knowledge, confidence and skills around validating and increasing resilience, valuing cultural diversity and supporting and motivating their learners. The programme will explore how to build on learners’ strengths, what enables recover from multiple traumas and what can help people build new lives.

Društvo za izobraževanje in socialni razvoj - Društvo DISORA (Association for education and social development). We are located in Maribor, the second largest city in Slovenia. We are a non-profit NGO. We wish to contribute to positive and sustainable development in the field of education, culture, sports and social development.

We are working primarily with vulnerable target groups: seniors, youths, the unemployed, people with disabilities, low educated, the Roma and migrants.

När jag i augusti 2018 surfade på, fick jag syn på en annons om ett TCA kontaktseminarium i Berlin som fokuserade på medielitteracitet och kritiskt tänkande inom vuxenutbildning. Efter ett nyss slutfört Erasmus+ digitaliseringsprojekt på vår skola – Sundbybergs vuxenutbildning – tänkte jag direkt på att det här är någonting vi borde delta i. Dessutom tänkte jag på den nyss utkomna läroplanen för vuxenutbildningen där ett alltmer större fokus och tyngdpunkt läggs just på digitalisering av undervisningen.

Ar visada smagu priimti kito pagalbą? Gal gebėjimas savarankiškai naudotis daugeliui mums įprastomis paslaugomis, neįgaliajam, taip pat ir Ingai, sėdinčiai vežimėlyje, yra ypač svarbus?

Within the framework of an approved Erasmus + KA1 program and participating in a consortium organized by the Directorate of Secondary Education of Pella, Greece teachers from 7 schools moved to Helsinki, Finland, from 23 to 29 September 2018. This mobility was the second flow of the program. The first was held in May 2018.

KA1 we look for partners to exchange about Arts in formel/non-formel adult education

We wish apply KA1 ERASMUS+ in february 2019 to try to meet different associations/partners in Europe or in other countries and to think together

about KA2 ERASMUS+ project in 2020. The themes of the project could be : 

arts (theater, dance, puppets, music, etc) in the formel or non formel adult education ; how to make become aware institutions arts are as important as any other disciplines etc...

Mitt studiebesök i Polen i staden Piotrków Trybunalski gällde mobilitetsprojektet Erasmus+ och i det ingick jobbskuggning (job shadowing) i Fundacja Bądź Aktywny-stiftelsen. Stiftelsens mål är att på många sätt uppmuntra till ett aktivt medborgarskap, bl.a. genom att främja livslångt lärande och uppmuntra till verksamhet med lokala samfund. Stiftelsen drivs helt av volontärer utan verksamhetslokaler.

My study visit to Poland in Piotrków Trybunalski was associated with an Erasmus + mobility project and included job shadowing at the Fundacja Bądź Aktywny Foundation. The Foundation's aim is to encourage active citizenship in many ways, for instance promoting lifelong learning and encouraging the activities of local communities. The Foundation operates entirely by volunteers without premises.
