A strategy development workshop was held for the new term within the scope of the Hârezmî Education Model, which was developed based on the importance of students' connecting what they learned at school with daily life. In the workshop organized online, it was focused on the things to be done to enrich the content in order to increase the quality of Hârezmi Education Model applications in the new period, to adapt new approaches and practices to the studies and to make distance education effective during the epidemic process we are in.

Het onstaan van problematische schulden kan iedereen overkomen. De kans is wel groter bij iemand die laaggeletterd is, doordat lezen, schrijven of rekenen lastig is. Het begrijpen van informatie en grip hebben op geldzaken is hierdoor lastig. Er is nu een toolkit die schuldhulpverlenders ondersteunt in gesprekken met laaggeletterden met schulden.

ICT skills for Educators – Online

Computing and IT is required by all businesses and jobs in today’s world. Information and Communication technology (ICT) has the potential to transform teaching and learning processes. According to a recent study in OECD countries, students are more sophisticated in their use of technology than teachers; an inherent discrepancy between student knowledge and usage of ICTs with the abilities of teacher to use ICTs. This suggest that teacher inexperience and skill deficiencies may often be a fundamental factor which prevents the effectiveness of ICT use in education.

Kompetanse Norge og Direktoratet for internasjonalisering og kvalitetsutvikling (Diku) lyste ut midler til utdanningstilbud som kan tilbys raskt og nettbasert til arbeidsledige og permitterte i forbindelse med koronasituasjonen. Høgskolen i Østfold fikk tildelt midler, og tilbyr nå et nettbasert etterutdanningskurs: Innføring i IKT.
