The economic crisis in Greece has severely affected low skilled groups who bear the brunt of rising unemployment. Low skilled groups are suffering the heavy impact of this current situation, as they lack knowledge while being also unable to improve their working skills and abilities.
Our project aims to provide training to these specific groups, in order to gain and develop skills in the caregiving sector. Trainings in caregiving will be focused in two parts. Firstly in giving first-aid courses, and secondly in realising several aspects of psychology, all of these with the scope to relate to the needs of disabled people.
Its main goal and project's objective is to advance the non formal educational status of low-skilled adults through specific training units, in order to obtain the basic knowledge in these fields, so as to be able to take care and psychologically support the disabled people. In this aspect they will obtain skills that will help them through a successful employment, as they will and have access in training and learning.
TARGET GROUPS: Low skilled adults, Low-qualified care service providers, Home/residential care service providers, VET Providers and Trainers
