Finding a good job is very difficult for unskilled people. Unskilled person also lowers the quality of the work. GSO-MEM applies vocational training programs for non-professionals, especially on the subjects that Gaziantep industry needs. These trainings will be held on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) , German International Cooperation Institute (GIZ) and Gaziantep Chamber of Industry (GSO). The PEP-Vocational Training Project, provides employment opportunities for people older than 18 years. With the project to be implemented, many course trainings are given for those who want to get a profession and want to start their business. Thanks to the trainings received from expert trainers, the participants of our courses become business owners. The male and female trainees meet with our advisors who are expert staff and express themselves easily and receive the most appropriate course. The courses cover many areas. These are; textile workshops, computer laboratories, machinery equipment workshops and workshops for many occupations are available. The workshops are given in practical sessions. In addition to employment opportunities for Turkish citizens also Syrian refugees living in Gaziantep could also apply for training. The language levels of our Syrian citizens who apply to our courses are determined and Turkish language education and diction lessons are given.
GSO; continues to train trained personnel to find solutions to the problems of industrial and private sector employers. In the industrial sector, which is the most deficient of the employers, it carries out the necessary training and examinations and projects suitable for all employers and job seekers. At the same time, it does not neglect to support its employers. GSO provide gross half-salary support for 6 months for each trainee with the job opportunities provided to our trainees by employers. They are taught the necessary business rules, such as business principle business ethics.
