ríomhArdán d’Fhoghlaim Aosach san Eoraip

Beartais tionscadail agus maoiniú de chuid na hEorpa

Daren Okafo, 'Innovations and Research Manager' Áisíneacht Náisiúnta Litearthachta do Aosaigh, a scríobh. Má féachaimid trí shúil na hOideolaíochta Criticiúla agus sinne ag díriú ar shraith ar bith de na róil a d’fhéadfadh a bheith ag na meáin shóisialta i bhfoghlaim aosach a breathnú ní mór dúinn cuimhneamh ar an rud ar thagair Freire dó mar a bheith ag léamh an fhocail agus an tsaoil ar aon (Freire, 1998, 2000; Freire & Macedo, 1987; Kahn & Kellner, 2007). Is ionann focal na meán sóisialta, isteach is amach, agus a chuid ‘téacsanna’ - an rud ar a nglaonn Manovich déantáin mheitea-mheán físeán/íomhá/téacs-bhunaithe a líonann ár láithreacht ar líne (Manovich, 2001). Má bhímid ag léamh saoil na meán sóisialta áfach, iarrtar orainn fírinní níos doimhne an mheáin féin a thuiscint. Cé a thógann agus cé a chothabhálann an meán seo, cad iad na hideolaíochtaí atá i gcroílár an phróisis sin, conas atá siad ionchódaithe ina eisint agus conas a dhéanann sé seo suibiachtaí dínn dá rún ionchódaithe? Má iarraimid ar fhoghlaimeoirí na huirlisí nua líonraithe seo a chur chun úsáide san oideachas aosach, an bhfuil ar ár gcumas a chinntiú gur feasach dóibh (agus dúinne) an dá choincheap seo agus go bhfuil siad agus sinne i mbun dialóige criticiúla leo? Is ionann sin agus a rá - an ea nach bhfuil de dhualgas orainn mar oideoirí foghlaim a éascú a chuimsíonn an dá rud, na meáin agus an meán é féin?
