Il 7 ottobre presso la Rappresentanza in Italia della Commissione Europea a Roma, si terrà il seminario nazionale tematico EPALE dal titolo Per una cultura dell’uguaglianza e delle pari opportunità: percorsi educativi per la libertà e la consapevolezza dei diritti delle donne”.

Wykorzystanie elektroniki zarówno w teoretycznej, jak i w praktycznej nauce pisania i czytania odgrywa w ostatnich latach coraz większą rolę. W tym procesie gry komputerowe zainstalowane w komputerach osobistych, tabletach, telefonach komórkowych lub innych urządzeniach elektronicznych odgrywają, z kilku powodów, znaczącą rolę. Ian Atkinson przygląda się wyzwaniom związanym z wykorzystaniem gier w świecie edukacji dorosłych.

Contactseminar voor projectideeën rondom het thema Participatie

Cinop Erasmus+ organiseert 28 t/m 30 oktober 2015 een Europees contactseminar voor professionals die zich bezighouden met het leren van volwassenen.

De locatie is Zandvoort aan Zee. Start: 28 oktober 12:00. Einde: 30 oktober 13:00.  Cinop Erasmus+ vergoedt de verblijfkosten voor deelnemers.

Het doel is het bij elkaar brengen van ongeveer 70 Europese partijen (waaronder 25 Nederlandse deelnemers) die een project willen starten rondom het thema ‘participatie’.  Tijdens het seminar worden, onder begeleiding, de eerste stappen richting een aanvraag Erasmus+ gezet.

Община Враца работи по подготовка на проектно предложение по схема «Активни», по ОПРЧР 2014-2020. Поканата за подаване на проектни предложения беше публикувана преди около месец. Процедурата е за активиране и интеграция в заетост на младежи до 29-годишна възраст вкл., които не работят, нямат завършено образование, в риск от социално изключване, от маргинализирани общности, включително не са регистрирани като безработни лица в Агенцията по заетостта.

V Andragoškem društvu Slovenije (ADS) so izdali junijsko številko e-glasila ADEES. V tokratni številki informativnega glasila so osrednjo pozornost namenili dr. Zoranu Jelencu. Objavljena je tudi aktualna kolumna predsednice društva Ide Srebotnik.
V tem času so izpeljali tudi izobraževalni program o izobraževanju odraslih s posebnimi potrebi, o samem programu, udeležbi  in evalvaciji pa lahko izvemo podrobne informacije. Ob tem je predstavljen tudi primer dobre prakse v Avstriji.

This piece of research explores the learner outcomes and impact of a group of community education centres operating from a distinct model of community education, named in this report as the social action model of community education. All participating centres are members of the AONTAS Community Education Network (CEN) and the hope is to use this research in the CEN’s work to contribute to the visibility and value of community education. A wide variety of benefits to learning were investigated including civic and social engagement, health and progression outcomes.

2015 m. pavasarį įvyko projekto „Specialistų, dirbančių nuteistųjų profesinio mokymo srityje, kvalifikacijos tobulinimas” dalyvių mokomasis vizitas Italijoje. Projektą įgyvendina Panevėžio pataisos namai kartu su partnerių institucijomis – VšĮ Panevėžio profesinio rengimo centru, VšĮ Panevėžio darbo rinkos mokymo centru ir Panevėžio suaugusiųjų mokymo centru.

In 2013, the number of refugees rose to 51.2 million – this is the highest number since World War II. (1) In the following years until June 2015, this figure increased further to nearly 60 million refugees; during the first half of 2015, 142,000 asylum applications were submitted in Germany alone. (2) The refugees are usually young people with very different situations in life and reasons for having fled their native country. Yet they all suffer from frequently facing greater obstacles in accessing education.

The Wales Co-operative Centre stands for strengthening communities, tackling poverty and promoting inclusion. They do this by implementing co-operative solutions to problems of exclusion.

They believe that digital exclusion continues to have a profound negative impact on Wales, affecting particularly people in our poorest communities. With planned welfare reforms, the impact of digital exclusion on individuals will become greater. They therefore suggest that there is a continuing need for a dedicated digital inclusion programme in Wales.

15. Festival za tretje življenjsko obdobje je pred vrati

Letos bodo organizatorji Festivala za tretje življenjsko obdobje poskrbeli že za njegovo petnajsto izvedbo. Tako kot vsako leto bo tudi tokrat v Cankarjevem domu v Ljubljani, in sicer med 29. septembrom in 1. oktobrom. Vabljeni, da se udeležita katerega izmed izobraževalnih dogodkov in obiščete stojnice, ki se bodo predstavile.

Der Artikel gibt einen Überblick über das Projekt „Gesundheitsförderung am 2. Arbeitsmarkt“, das im Zeitraum 2012-2014 von ISOP (Innovative Sozialprojekte) in Graz durchgeführt wurde. Vankilaopetuspäivät 2015 järjestetään Tampereella 7.–8.10.2015. Päivät kokoavat toimijat yhteen vaihtamaan ajatuksia ja kokemuksia opetus- ja rikosseuraamusalan ajankohtaisista asioista. Teemoja ovat oppiminen, oppimisympäristöt, hanketyö, arviointi ja tutkimus, lainsäädäntö ja kehitysnäkymät, kumppanuudet sekä työhyvinvointi. Päiviin sisältyy esittelytori, jonne olette tervetulleita esittelemään toimintaanne.

A series of Open Educational Resources are available to learners of Norwegian as a second language. Some are new, some have recently been upgraded. CALST, LearnNow and Duolingo are training programs available for anyone who wants to learn Norwegian. Training centers can use the programs as part of, or in addition to their Norwegian courses. 

This research report from the European Commission aims to identify good practices in second chance education, their success factors, and their transferability into initial education and training. You will find an outline of the research methods and findings as well as recommendations for successful second chance education 

Catherine Byrne is a Maths tutor with the City of Dublin Education Service to Prisons. She is currently studying for a PhD in Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) in maths education in prisons. Here she discusses a recent initiative within one Dublin prison and the benefits of returning to study maths for prisoners.
