Media literacy guide for adults

The Finnish Lifelong Learning Foundation published two media guides in 2016. They aim at helping adults to develop their media literacy skills.

1. Reporters Guide (only available on-line) helps to cover development issues in a versatile manner. The guide helps to avoid stereotypes by increasing ones awareness on global development issues. The Reporters Guide is available in English and in Finnish.
2. The Media Guide (available also in pdf) steers the reader to understand the media in the digital age. Additionally, the guide discusses ethics and self-regulation in journalism. It also provides a variety of tools to analyze the content and reliability of media. The guide is available in English and in Arabic.
