Recommendations for Involving Adults from Disadvantaged Backgrounds in Education

Teanga: EN

Postáilte ag Ingrida Muraskovska

The strategic partnership project ODEon (Nr. 2016-1-LV01-KA204-022704) focused on adults from disadvantaged backgrounds, namely, disabled persons, migrants, persons from remote rural areas from socioeconomically disadvantaged backgrounds, etc. The project partners - Kurzeme Planning Region (Latvia), Organization for the Promotion of European Issues, OPEI (Cyprus), and a theatre NUCLEO (Italy) – shared their experience on working with these target groups. The recommendations on involving adults from disadvantaged backgrounds in education have been developed as a result of discussions and efforts of the mixed working groups. They include general recommendations, recommendations on working with specific target groups as well as the methods used by the project partners. These recommendations can be useful to educational practitioners and policy makers.
