Erasmus+ KA102 VET Application Workshop

Postáilte ag Denise Shannon 3 months 2 seachtainí ó shin

Déardaoin 12 Meán Fómhair 2019
Dublin
,

Last year, more than €4.5 million of Erasmus+ funding was allocated to further education projects in Ireland. These projects expand horizons through:

  • Apprenticeship and learner work placements
  • Professional development
  • Job shadowing

Organisations active in VET can receive funding for projects that include sending their learners and/or staff for a vocational training placement in another participating country (KA1 VET mobility projects). In the Irish context, an eligible VET provider is an organisation that directly delivers further education programmes–with a vocational or apprenticeship element–at NFQ Levels 4, 5 and 6. These programmes typically include periods of vocational work-based learning.

An Application workshop will be held for those considering applying for funding for KA1 VET projects, where advice will be given on preparing applications for the 01 October 2019 deadline. Attendees will be updated with financial guides, mobility durations, as well as concrete examples of projects. If successful in receiving funding, such projects will start between 1st January and 31st May 2020 with a duration of 12 to 24 months).
