A l'occasion de sa 10ème rencontre thématique du 30 octobre 2019, EPALE France a choisi de présenter différents regards (italien, allemand, français) sur ces nouveaux lieux d’apprentissage que sont les tiers-lieux.

Σε μια  Ελληνική πόλη του Νότου , το Ρέθυμνο Κρήτης ένας γονεικός φορέας, ο Σύλλογος γονέων και φίλων ατόμων με αυτισμό Ρεθύμνου προκαλεί δημιουργώντας μια γέφυρα συνεργασιών για να στήσει ένα πυρήνα εργασιακής ένταξης ατόμων με αναπηρία μεσαίας και υψηλής λειτουργηκότητας. Προκαλεί την ελληνική κοινωνία να αποδεχτεί την αυτόνομη κα ποιοτική ένταξη των αμεα στην αγορά εργασίας. Δουλεύει με μικρά και μεθοδικά βήματα προς την πιστοποιημένη εκπαίδευση και την πρόσληψη ατόμων με αναπηρία στον τουριστικό τομέα .

Migrant Liter@cies MOOC

The Migrant Literacies MOOC is a free online course created within the project Migrant Literacies co-funded by the Erasmus Plus programme of the European Commission. The partnership of the project involves experts working with migrants and literacy teaching of institutions working in the field of media education, adult education and higher Education of 8 European Countries: Mediawijs (Belgium), Tartu Folk Highschool (Estonia), Centro Zaffiria and Fo.Co. Network ( Italy), JFF – Institut für Medienpädagogik(Germany), Tilburg University (Netherlands), POLIS (Poland), Proacademy (Slovakia) and SSF – Solidaridad Sin Fronteras (Spain). The course is made of 9 modules and explores the potentials of innovative and creative uses of ICT and Media in the effective teaching of Literacy to migrant adults. Objective of the course is to develop media and digital literacy competences of educators, while addressing the needs and challenges of their learners – adult migrants, in particular those with low literacy levels in the own language. Through videos, activities and background information, participants get to know more on various topics such as the importance of multiple literacies, why using ICT in language learning, data privacy and App usage, the potentials of using mobile media and the use of digital technologies for empowerment of learners. It is aimed at educators working with adult migrants, as well as at institutions able to implement training activities for teachers and teaching staff: Universities, Centers of Research and Training, Adult Education Centers, Networks of Associations working with Migrants, national and European organizations. The course strts the 15th of January 2020 and goes until the 17th of March. Each module will have the duration of one week, starting every Wednesday and ending Tuesdays with a streaming session scheduled for 14:00h (CET). During the week participants can use the forum for feedback, questions and interact with the tutors, which will be also available real time for the streaming session at the end of each module. 2019. gada decembrī EPALE – Eiropas Savienības pieaugušo izglītības elektroniskās platformas – lietotāju skaits sasniedzis 60 000. Kopš šī gada februāra tas pieaudzis par desmit tūkstošiem. Latvijas pieaugušo izglītības profesionāļi šajā nozares kopienā veido divus procentus no lietotāju kopskaita visā Eiropā.

Zbliżają się świeta. Cudowny czas: dla chrześcijan - z powodów religijnych, a tak naprawdę, to dla wszystkich, bo wolne i promocje :) . W tym okresie wszystko wydaje się ładniejsze, bardziej kolorowe, atrakcyjniejsze. Promocja, obniżka, reklamy, okazje… Te hasła nie są obce także produktom edukacyjnym. Wielkie platformy edukacyjne ogłaszają spadki cen. Blogerzy i influencerzy posiadający produkty edukacyjne ogłaszają wyprzedaże. „Tylko do jutra!”, „naucz się czegoś przed końcem roku!”, to tylko niektóre hasła atakujące mnie ostatnio na Facebooku czy w ogóle w przestrzeni Internetu.

Literacy is the use of reading, writing and numbers to function and exist in everyday society, to achieve goals and potentially develop one’s knowledge. To take an active part in life and be an equal member of society, this has influence on our lives from the ability to understand and receive information. So for example, I have to ask myself why there are so many people in Ireland living with literacy issues?

Jornada de análisis sobre los resultados en Erasmus+

El Viernes 13 de diciembre tendrá lugar una jornada organizada por CCOO sobre la educación a lo largo de la vida: con el fin de analizar los resultados de los proyectos Erasmus + y de experiencias innovadoras en la metodología de la enseñanza de personas adultas en la Comunidad de Madrid. 

Paulo Reglus Neves Freire is surely one of the most cited and iconic figures in the contemporary education literature. This paper explores his relevance for an age characterised by the intensification of globalisation, and the mobility of capital, in which education is often equated exclusively with the development of the so-called ‘human resources’ (sic). It analyses his pedagogical approach, contrasting it with some of the main features in the dominant policy documents in education such as the EU’s Lisbon objectives.

The Manual aims at supporting migrants become creative entrepreneurs and run their business successfully. It summarizes project results  along with a series of rules and basic practice about “how to run a business”. It will define a set of clear, simple and adaptable advises for creative entrepreneurs willing to understand more about this field.

The KA2 ErasmusPlus project ‘YouDigIT’ was completed in October. The goal of this two-year project was to exchange existing practices around the use of digital tools aimed at helping low-skilled adults to work on their basic knowledge and skills.

Training Plan for course on free and open source software (FOSS) for small and medium enterprises. This European project initiative aims to help to promote the use of FOSS in business. The purpose of this course is to provide you with an overview of the most important FOSS concepts and solutions that are available today for you to consider and use in your own business. The course is broken down into 5 main units with sub-topics in each unit. Each individual unit contains a summary in advance of a series of lessons on the topic.

These training couses are designed to assist migrants in enhancing their language, digital and entrepreneurial skills with regards to creative industries’ requirements within European Societies.
