Time is of the essence in this response, to help speed recovery from recession, to get people back to work safely, to limit the career scarring effects of prolonged unemployment and skills mismatch, and to take advantage of opportunities that may otherwise dissipate over time.

The EBSN EPALE Team is glad to announce its second and third online course for policy-makers, experts and other professionals who have a stake in basic skills policy and are currently engaged in the implementation of the Upskilling Pathways recommendation.

Applicant organisation needed for Erasmus + KA2 project on Family Learning

CPIP Romania - Center for Promoting Lifelong Learning is preparing a project application on family learning and needs a promoter for the project who is willing to submit the application at their National Agency. All the administrative and development work will be done by CPIP. The project applicant should have previous experience in coordinating EU funded projects and solid expertise in the field of adult education/basic skills for adults.

With the COVID-19 pandemic, our institution underwent a digital transformation. Since the very beginning of my work at Panevėžys District Education Centre I have always dreamed of using online tools to train adults living in remote rural areas. We eventually managed to organise such training by implementing the international project “Innovative Learning Methods in Adult Education” under Erasmus + KA1 Programme. During the project, we organised blended English language training for adults using a free and open-source learning management system called Moodle.

Grupa uczniów kształcąca się w zawodzie fototechnik/technik fotografii i multimediów - przyszli fotografowie realizowali swoją mobilność w Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto (Sycylia). Wszyscy są utalentowani, zmotywowani i pełni zapału do swojej pracy. Ich zadaniem było stworzenie - jako grupa - filmu promującego miasto, w którym przebywali podczas stażu.

Therefore, our upcoming OER collection and MOOC made in collaboration with the European Basic Skills Network will aim to provide an introduction to adult numeracy training. The MOOC will start on 30 November and finish on 18 December and it will give the opportunity for participants to go deeper into the materials of the respective OER collection.

U sklopu Tjedna cjeloživotnog učenja dodjeljuju se i nagrade “Maslačak znanja“. Glavni cilj nagrade je isticanjem i promoviranjem životnih primjera odraslih polaznika različitih programa i oblika učenja potaknuti i motivirati sve građane/ke u Republici Hrvatskoj da se uključe u neki oblik učenja i obrazovanja. Nagrada se sastoji od male skulpture, povelje i vaučera za besplatno pohađanje programa obrazovanja po izboru dobitnika.
