The EBSN EPALE Team is glad to announce its second and third online course for policy-makers, experts and other professionals who have a stake in basic skills policy and are currently engaged in the implementation of the Upskilling Pathways recommendation.

Applicant organisation needed for Erasmus + KA2 project on Family Learning

CPIP Romania - Center for Promoting Lifelong Learning is preparing a project application on family learning and needs a promoter for the project who is willing to submit the application at their National Agency. All the administrative and development work will be done by CPIP. The project applicant should have previous experience in coordinating EU funded projects and solid expertise in the field of adult education/basic skills for adults.

"It was not only the students who had to get used to using digital tools. As a teacher, I was forced to learn how to use them for the first time because I had never taught online before. The first thing I had to figure out was which tool to use for the virtual lessons and then I had to learn how to teach online. To find out which tool to use, I attended meetings (coordination between school teachers is essential), I signed up to webinars, watched tutorials, read articles, and spent endless hours sat in front of the computer."

CEDEFOP har intervjuat över 40 000 personer som är över 25 år, runt om i Europa om hur det uppfattar vuxenutbildning och yrkesutbildning för vuxna.

Resultatet visar att vuxenutbildning och yrkesutbildning för vuxna är uppskattade insatser för medborgarna i Europa.

Samt att samtliga länder borde satsa än mer på vidareutbildning för vuxna.

Resultatet finns sammanställt i en rapport på engelska.

På ENCELL, Nationellt kompetenscentrum för livslångt lärande kan du läsa om en av årets två vinnande uppsatser.

Uppsatsen har skrivits av studenter inom VAL inom ramen för lärarutbildningen på Högskolan för lärande och kommunikation i Jönköping

De två studenterna Mina Aharbil Persson och Lina Banyameen har intervjuat åtta SFI-studerande om modersmålets roll i andraspråksinlärning.

In February and March when it became evident that COVID-19 was going to change the world, at the IÐAN Education Center they decided to move quickly. In just a few weeks, they revolutionised their teaching methods. Before they gave courses at the educational center but were in the process of developing reinventing online education. Now, a few months on, they are streaming lectures, producing webinars, podcasts, and offering online courses and educational material on the website to support and inspire their learners.

Akčný plán digitálneho vzdelávania (2021 – 2027) načrtáva víziu Európskej komisie v oblasti vysokokvalitného, inkluzívneho a dostupného digitálneho vzdelávania v Európe. Ide o výzvu k akcii na silnejšiu spoluprácu na európskej úrovni s cieľom poučiť sa z krízy spôsobenej pandémiou COVID-19, počas ktorej sa technológie používajú vo vzdelávaní a odbornej príprave v doposiaľ nevídanom rozsahu, a zabezpečiť, aby vzdelávanie a odborná príprava boli pripravené na digitálny vek.

Anna Sollén a was hired to set up and run the digital service center based at Lycksele Public Library during a 2018-2020 project. eRUM Lycksele started as a joint project with three municipalities in the region of Västerbotten. During the project, structures and methods were tested and shared in order to find out how municipalities can work together long term to increase the digital participation and competence of their inhabitants. The main target groups were senior citizens and immigrants.
